Roger Dittman, Calls for a human "Big Die Off" in the name of "Sustainable Development"
Roger Dittman ^ | 4/30/2012 | Roger Dittman

Posted on 04/30/2012 11:58:40 AM PDT by JohnKinAK

“Economic (and other) development that leads to reduction in population toward an optimum level for maximization of the quality of life, i.e. environmentally benign development that reduces the birth rate.”, he explains on page 14 of his lecture notes.

“The Big Die Off has already begun" (page 17).

He calls for Global Government:

“Since this is a global effort, it requires global organization, both governmental and popular” pg 18 of notes

I seem to remember a Star Trek episode where a certain number of planet's population were selected by computer and given 24 hours to report to a disintegration chamber. Two planets were at war and to avoid the physical destruction of the planets opted to just kill off random parts of their population in computer simulated attacks.

Imagine an impending doom and you find yourself as the only person with a means of escape and survival.

However, your vehicle of escape can only hold 6 other people besides yourself. Among those who are asking for you to save them are a plumber, a farmer, an electrician, a mechanic, a civil engineer, an attractive lady chef, a community organizer, and a professor of physics from a California University.

Whom would you choose?

All these little wannabe gods, who advocate the death of others as a sacrifice to Gaia, are scared spitless of their own mortality.

I am actually glad they are finally putting in writing. It is what they have wanted all along but when I told people that they just looked at me like I was crazy. Now I have sources.

“The Big Die Off has already begun" (page 17).

This is probably correct. For the last few decades the human birth rate has been dropping like a rock. IF this trend continues, admittedly a really big IF, there will indeed be a Big Die Off.

Almost all "advanced societies" are presently well below replacement level birth rates. Many developing and third world societies are following in out tracks at various lag times.

Which when you think about it makes our definition of "advanced" suspect. How advanced can a society be when it is in the process of slow suicide?

Nature's End
by Whitley Strieber & James Kunetka

It is 2025 and the planet is rapidly approaching environmental death. A rich and comfortable elite coexists with malnourished, pitiful billions, "the victim generation." The rich enjoy youth preservation treatments and other biomedical wonders while the rest just endure the toxicity and pollution.

Dr. Gupta Singh, a Hindu guru with a Jim Jones-like following, has proposed the suicide, by lottery, of one-third of the world's population. His followers have elected a Depopulationist majority in Congress.

Led by journalist John Sinclair, a small group hopes to prove that Singh is a fraud. Singh is a formidable enemy: he sets the feared tax police after Sinclair, alters his records, and wipes out his wealth. Tension mounts as Sinclair stalks Singh and gains access into Singh's true identity and character.

A Taste of Armageddon

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Taste_of_Armageddon

The killing seemed random but it was actually a function of the targeting programs which, when you think about it, were unlikely to select low value areas/functions. So, if you lived in the country side you were probably safe...as long as you didn’t go into a big city.

Same thing with the current “Great Die-Off” discussion.

The unsustainable population is NOT located in the developed world. They are already at (or even below) replacement levels. The runaway growth is in the developing nations where 1st world medicine has greatly reduced the death rate while previous cultural practices are keeping the birth rates high.

If you want a dramatic drop in the birth rate, develop a treatable disease that attacks the human reproductive system causing infertility and then DON’T provide the immunization vaccine to the areas you want to depopulate.

Gosh, won’t you be popular - NOT!

They are telling us the plans.

Pay attention. When the elite move to make this happen, you can’t say you weren’t warned.

Right...he was thinking more along the lines of you going first. In fact I’m sure he would gladly recommend a bit of force to get you moving. After all he’s a Really Important person and you aren’t. He’s indispensable and you’re disposable. The world can continue revolving and rotating w/o you but not him. See where this is going? Its ‘liberal think’ otherwise known as the Mary Poppins syndrome, practically perfect in every way.

Actually, he is preaching to the wrong choir.

If you look at the birth rates by country, almost every Western country is below replacement value of 2.1 children per woman (for example, Japan and Russia birthrates are less than 1 child per woman — that will cut the population in half in 50 years).

On the other hand, third world countries, especially those populated by Muslims, have birth rates substantially higher than replacement value. If he wants to call for a population die-off in those countries ... maybe we should listen to how he might like to do it.

To all you "you first"-ers, looks like this guy is about to drop dead from old age anyway. He's got to be around 80 years old.
