SANTA ANA – Nadya Suleman – known as Octomom – filed bankruptcy papers on Monday here in federal court.

Suleman's debt could be as much as $1 million – 20 times more than her net worth, according to court documents. The mother of 14 has up to $50,000 in assets.

"I have had to make some very difficult decisions this year, and filing Chapter 7 was one of them," Suleman, 36, said through an e-mail sent by her manager, Gina Rodriguez. "But I have to do what is best for my children, and I need a fresh start."

It’s pretty obvious the writer has no understanding of the concept of “net worth”.

Its the gals who resent her free-loading lifestyle the most. This is what I have seem on the internet. She is always lying because she is divorced from reality.

I saw her on a Dr. Drew show — I know, I know... bad me... but it was like watching a train wreck, pardon the cliche. I couldn’t avert my eyes or ears.

This mental midget really thought that having 8 babies at a time would land her a reality TV series or something, which considering whats out there, might have worked out if done in advance or something.

How much did that artificial insemination cost?

Now she is on welfare, big whoop. Her 15 minutes of fame should be declared OVER. Same with Justin Beeber.

She looked like a bit of a freak, too. Was flipping through the channels and had to stop and do a double take.

Whatever the surgeon did to her face and body ain’t natural.

Had to cost a fortune, too.

Just drove by her soon to be ex-house today in La Habra while driving my 80 year old Mom around to get her scripts. Feel bad for the kids, La Habra offers some services, doesn't appear she is taking advantage of them.

Ugh, you know, that would explain why I thought her face, and especially the lips, was moving in such a strange way.

She seems cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, it’s too bad she’s still getting so much air time. I don’t think this whole ‘single mother and proud’ thing is something to be bragging about.

And, the poor children :((, Mommy used up their food money for more surgeries.

The children should be adopted out to families who CAN take care of them.

Octomom Nadya Suleman -- spent $520 on a Brazilian blowout

You sure you're not getting her mixed up with the Secret Service?

She might not be such an idiot. She called into Geraldo’s FOX News show on Sunday and said she was considering doing a reality show. So this bankruptcy may be carefully timed so she can do it before the big paycheck comes in so she gets to net an extra million.

We need a new bumper sticker...Dan Quayle was right. The whole idea of women being able to artificially inseminate themselves completely goes against every tenet of nature and civil society. We can survive as a society because the man can usually be expected to be there to help take care of a family and two people have to be involved in creating the children. Letting science and technology mutate something as fundamental about life as reproduction is a recipe for pain, suffering and disaster.
