CLEVELAND - Occupy Cleveland canceled a scheduled rally Tuesday after a group of men connected to the organization were arrested by the FBI.
In a news release, Occupy Cleveland said the five men arrested in a terror plot to blow up the Route 82 bridge in Brecksville were "in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland" and Occupy is rooted in non-violent principles.

A member of Occupy Cleveland said he saw all five suspects at a meeting for the organization Sunday. He said he considered three of them friends and they never talked about anything violent with him.
Three of the suspects had references to Occupy Cleveland on what appeared to be their Facebook pages. Brandon Baxter , Joshua Stafford and Tony Hayne all said on Facebook that they worked at #OccupyCleveland and live in Cleveland, Ohio .
Implicit in the design of all leftist movements is the threat of violence. The desire to control everything naturally leads to violence. It was only a matter of time before some of these nuts tried to kill people.
Dear Head Community Organizer,
My unemployed bum of a son will not be able to attend today’s May-Day March because he got detained by Homeland Security over a bridge incident along with five of his other bum friends.
Please forward his meal vouchers, bus fare vouchers, and fecal launching tube to my other unemployed bum son, who graduated from college three years ago and has not yet found a job because of the Koch Brothers and other 1%’ers.
With Warmest Agitator Sincerity,
What the folks in Cleveland may not realize yet is that these 5 goobers have given Obama all the excuse he will need to declare the Occupy movement a terrorist conspiracy & pull his version of Night of the Long Knives when the useful idiots no longer serve a purpose.
It’s a good thing these were OCCUTARDS.
Can you just IMAGINE the 24/7 Wall-to-wall Breaking News Coverage and Hourly Updates we’d be subjected to, FOR DAYS, had these been Tea Party people?
Why, they might even have broken in to Dancing with the Stars, or sumpin!
Man, America really dodged a bullet on this one!
There.................Amended and edited it.
Leftists are really dumb. Nothing will be of greater damage to Obama than the leftists supporting civic violence
I am old enough to remember the riots in 1968 in Chicago because the lunatics were angry that the Democrats were nominationg Hubert Humphrey instead of Eugene McCarthy for POTUS. Such behavior turned the tide against Humphrey, who was certainly a card-carrying liberal Democrat of the populist mode. Yet, the idiots caused so much angst in the population that Nixon won the election by a rather small margin.
I wonder what Sarah Palin said or did that caused these wonderful, innocent boys to act like this. /s
Brandon Baxter might want to see if Romney will hire him..?
The mistake on the lake that once elected dennis the menace kokokocinich as mayor.
Occupy Cleveland? Why bother, it's not even fit to drive through.
There was so much methane coming from the human waste in the river that Cleveland almost burned to the ground, but no such luck.
Oh this guy is going to have a good time in the slammer.
So which is it? Were they involved with the occupy Cleveland movement or weren’t they? The lead sentence seems to be direct opposition to the headline.
Judging from the photos of these upstanding youths, I don’t think they could plan a lunch run to Subway, let alone a bridge bombing.
Charter members of the Occupy Federal Prison movement.
Rush Limbaugh must have incited these people to violence.
