Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov was a journalist for RIA Novosti and a former KGB informant from the Soviet Union who defected to Canada.

Bezmenov explains the 4 basic principles of subverting a free country and converting it to totalitarianism. Although parts of the video are somewhat outdated, the essential element is the methods used to transform a country from freedom to tyranny :

1. Demoralize.

Demoralize the population through the education system. Inculcate marxist/leninist ideology into students in the classroom without being challenged or balanced with the writings of the Enlightenment,natural law, in/un alienable rights,etc. . .

2. Destabilization. . .

It only takes from two to five years to destabilize a nation by destroying the economy, foreign relations and military defense. . .

3. Crisis. .

Crisis stage is in manufacturing a complete a meltdown of western free enterprise via economic crash. It may take as little as six weeks to bring a country to the verge of crisis. .

4. Normalization. .

Normalization. Marxist term for the new collective state. Normalization is a cynical expression borrowed from Soviet propaganda. When the Soviet tanks moved into Czechoslovakia in '68 Brezhnev said, 'now brother Czechoslovakia is normalized.' This is what will happen in the United States if progressive totalitarians are allowed to promise that material wealth will be free and paradise on earth in order to destabilize the economy, to eliminate the principle of free market competition, and to put a big brother government in Washington, D.C. . . That whole scenario works for unarmed Russians and the KGB.

Turn that KGB loose in America and see how far these boys carry out their commie agenda holding their brains in their laps.
