Matthews: "So Proud" Of Obama Addressing Troops In Afghanistan
Real Clear Politics ^ | May 1, 2012

Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's "Hardball," raved about a speech President Obama made to American troops during his surprise visit to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

"I imagine being a soldier over there [and] this is what you want to hear," Matthews said, as if he was wearing military fatigues.

Matthews also likened the leadership of President Obama to that of Henry V of England.

"It was right out of Henry V actually, a touch of Barry, in this case, in the night for those soldiers risking their lives over there," Matthews said.

"Well that's great stuff. I was so proud of the President there, I must say. This has nothing to do with partisanship; this is the Commander-in-Chief meeting with the troops," Chris Matthews gushed on his program today.

Matthews continued to express his admiration for Obama, who was in Afghanistan to mark the first anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death.

Said the Peace Corps shirker of the “man” who never bothered to serve a day in uniform. Not that Mitt Romney is George Patton, of course.

A touch of Barry in the night! If Shakespeare came back, he’d never stop throwing up.

Yes it is.

It just hit me - why they hate conservatives. Because they are self-confident and seem (to the liberal adolescent) to always know what to do. When faced with adversity or a new situation, the liberal adolescent can only lash out, whine, or go into defib.

He’s got to be proud of BO, he recognizes a fellow adolescent and is giving him a participation trophy.

“”I imagine being a soldier...”

No, you little fat-gut puke. You can never imagine what a soldier is.

You don’t deserve to lick the boots of a soldier. The best you can hope for, you traitor, is that a soldier will hang you for treason, and you can tell St. Peter that a soldier hanged you for your sedition.

Dems loved calling GWB and Dick Cheney chickenhawks, while trying to portray the treasonous John Kerry as a war hero. Funny, I haven’t heard them making any mention of Obama’a and Biden’s non-service.

Wonder why Chris Matthews doesn’t get himself sent to state prison somewhere, where he can beg to be assigned to the Sons Of Obama cellblock, and get his Barry sexual fantasies filled all day, every day?

What nobody is saying is that, when Obama “addressed the troops” at Bagram Air Base, NO soldiers were allowed to attend!

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/05/obama-gives-speech-from-bagram-soldiers-not-allowed-in/

When Panetta went there not too long ago, soldiers were disarmed and pat searched before they could come anywhere near him, but Obama is so paranoid that soldiers aren’t let anywhere near him.

That is why he was posing in front of their equipment, because nobody was there but his entourage and his photographers.

He was addressing an empty room.

No troops there!

How “proud” does THAT make you Chris?

In the Play HENRY V, Henry isn’t wandering around letting everybody see his greatness. He’s trying to get a feel for the morale of his troops. He’s also trying to “steel their hearts” before a big battle. He then leads them in combat. Obama is doing none of this. This is just a chicken shit photo op. Comparing this to Henry V in the play is an affront to Western Civilization put forth by a boob who was successfully replaced by an orange traffic cone..

Matthews is really a moron....Henry V led his troops into battle in the battle of Agincourt against the French....like Obama would even statue correctly

In truth Obama is more like the French King Charles VI in that battle a weak and sickly man....
