The first woman to command the Army's drill sergeant training took legal action Monday to reclaim her job, alleging she was improperly suspended last year because of sexism and racism and demanding that two of her superiors be investigated for abuse of their authority.

I thought the military was supposed to work differently, and that, unlike the private sector where blacks are essentially unfireable, the military can pretty much simply do the right thing when it comes to promotions, demotions, and reassignments, etc.?

She says her instincts tell her if she were male none of this would have happened.
So implicit in her statement is fraternization, at a minimum, with a subordinate or having night time relations.

From reading the comments section on a couple of the links there are a few references to padding her resume with advanced degrees from diploma mills.
Very interesting indeed.But she has nothing to worry about.The very *worst* that will happen to her is that she'll be placed on some sort of "inactive" status so she can get her full 20 year...or 30 year...retirement check. And it very probably won't be nearly *that* bad for her.She's got the daily double going for her...race and gender.And I'll wager every nickel I have that soon we'll learn that she's of an "alternative sexual orientation".Trifecta!
