Every time I think that I can hold my hurl and vote for the vapid RINOmneydork, I find another example of his RINOness.

Sorry, this is the last straw. I have already changed my affiliation from R to Independent, and will have to just not cast a vote for president at all if the soon to be extinct Republicans insist on nominating this appalling example of utter dorkiness.

Good riddance to you then. If others follow you, we will have Obama for 4 more years. The choice is between Obama and Romney. Take you pick. I will take ANYONE over Obama, so that leaves Romney.

The choice is between Obama and Romney.

As far as I'm concerned, this isn't so much about choosing between political candidates as it is about punishing Obama. His wicked actions in office must be punished and be seen to be punished - with an electoral defeat. Myth might or might not be an apostate, but he hasn't actually done anything to us yet. Obama has.

Could you get a link to Romney’s web site where he says he is pro-choice? It’s hard to read an audio file.

I note that you have stipulated to the fact that Mitt Romney is a judicial supremacist, anti-republican, pro-choice, democrat.

And you think I should deploy my sacred franchise in support of one of those, right?

That’s what you’re saying?

Romney is a Rino.

Been there, done that.

Obama is a pure Marxist. Had enough of that.

So the choice is a partial conservative (fiscal) and a full blown classical Marxist. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

I wonder how much of these “Romney is really a (insert your phobia here)” post are by Obama supporters trying to make people mad enough to stay home.

You can go find it yourself. I'm not propagating links for a judicial supremacist, anti-republican, pro-choice, democrat.

But, here's the text that is referenced in the audio:

Mitt Romney, 1994:

“I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a US Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, that we should sustain and support it, and I sustain and support that law, and the right of a woman to make that choice.”

Mitt Romney, May 2012:

"Mitt believes that life begins at conception and wishes that the laws of our nation reflected that view. But while the nation remains so divided, he believes that the right next step is for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade – a case of blatant judicial activism that took a decision that should be left to the people and placed it in the hands of unelected judges. With Roe overturned, states will be empowered through the democratic process to determine their own abortion laws and not have them dictated by judicial mandate."

Here's the text from the Roe vs. Wade majority opinion:

"The appellee and certain amici argue that the fetus is a 'person' within the language and meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. In support of this, they outline at length and in detail the well known facts of fetal development. If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses, for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment."

-- Justice Harry A. Blackmun, Roe vs. Wade, 1973

Thanks for that excellent advice. We either all get behind the only choice against Obama or we get Obama for another 4 years. It does not get any simplier than that. Everything else, including everything negative about Romney, does not matter. The vetting is over.

Who cares? It is over. Romney or Obama. Those are the only two choices. If you don't like Romeny, go vote for Obama and get off this board. You stink like a liberal democrat.

You seem to have forgotten how TEAM ROMNEY put the Imam in.

Milt the Ineligible RINO:
“Take out the conservatives. Remove any woman whbo voted Republican.”

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Who cares?

Anyone who still cares about the foundational principles of the republic, and the explicit, imperative requirements of the Constitution, and the oath to support and defend it.

You're a poster child for what it means to be a Romney Republican.

Principles? Unalienable rights? The Constitution? "Who cares?"

I want that cocky smirk off Obama's face.

It is not over. Romney may have a killer macaca moment, he may develop a debilitating illness, he may be subject to a personal family emergency, an Eagleton-type skeleton may fall out of the closet, he may be on the wrong end of a nutjob's bullet, a revolt of conservatives at the convention may force rules changes.

As far as being on the wrong board. You do realize that the owner of this board is completely anti-Romney, and has made it clear that Romney won't get his vote. Perhaps YOU are on the wrong board. I will let the admins decide.

So the choice is a partial conservative (fiscal)...

Really? Where? When? And are we supposed to pretend fee increases are separate from tax increases?

Business "savvy" is a different animal from conservatism. Romney is a liberal who has run businesses. I think a lot of folks mistake business experience for "fiscal conservatism," forgetting all about liberal business icons like Warren Buffett and Donald Trump.

Romney's political philosophy, regardless of flip or flop, is grounded in control justified by the state to manage people fiscally and morally. It's in his record. You want to see the "future" with Romney, look at his past.
