How does one justify a vote for Romney?

With the foisted increased possibility of Mittens buying becoming the Nominee, can you actually justify voting for him in the general election?

This is what I am truly curious to find out.

• Do you plan to vote for Mittens in the General election?
  
• How do you plan to justify a vote for Mittens?
  
• Is it ABO "anyone but Obama"?
  
• Or is it ABR "anyone but Romney"?
  
• Or is it pure loyalty to the GOP?
  
• .....or do you think Romney is the best that the GOP can offer?
  
• Or..........do you plan to write-in a vote?

• Or is there a possibility to give any thought to either Virgil Goode or to Gary Johnson?

Personally, at this moment, I simply cannot vote for Romney under any circumstance. I am also convinced that if Romney runs against Obama, Romney will lose massively.

I'd really be interested in your feedback, especially in terms of how you potentially plan to justify voting for Romney if he indeed becomes the Nominee.

Why wouldn't it be justified for a wide variety of reasons? Millions have voted in the primaries. He got more of those votes than anyone else running aginst him.

People voted for him because they liked him and didn't like the others.

My goal is the removal of Obama.

Obama hates America and wants to destroy her. This is beyond dispute. I do not believe that this is true about Romney.

I believe that a President Romney will appoint better judges and better Executive Branch officials than Obama has or will. This is a matter of opinion but it seems pretty obviously true to me.

I believe that if we get a GOP Congress that passes some conservative legislation a President Romney will be more likely to sign this legislation than Obama would. Again, a matter of opinion but it seems pretty likely to me.

For me it really isn’t a close call. Romney was not my first, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th choice of all those who ran for the GOP nomination, but now that he has beat all of the others I will vote for him because I think this is what will be better for America.

I have no problem voting for Romney. He’s not Obama. That’s enough for me. Either Romney or Obama will win. A write in vote is worthless and in swing states, could get Obama elected.

Fine -- I give up. Mitt Romney is the anti-Christ. Four more years of Obama will leave our country in great shape.

I really hate being in this position, because Romney would not have been my first choice for a candidate; but, none of the people I liked wanted to take the leap. We are now down to Romney vs. Obama and, contrary to the people I am hearing from on this thread, I refuse to believe that Romney is worse than Obama.

But, you guys just keep braying, keep depressing people who won't go out to vote against Obama. That will be a great help to our country.
