Meet the First Obama Girlfriend
breitbart ^ | 5/2/12 | Ben Shapiro

It only took nearly six years for the media to begin vetting President Obama’s past.

Today, Vanity Fair released an excerpt from a new biography of Barack Obama by David Maraniss. The excerpt discusses Barack Obama's first love affair, with a white Australian woman named Genevieve Cook. It's a telling examination of who Obama was as a young man -- and it shows a self-absorbed "internationalist" with delusions of grandeur.

The book itself sounds like an ode to Obama. Maraniss writes, “At age 20, Obama was a man of the world … He could not be of one place, rooted and provincial.” No, says Maraniss, this was a broadminded young man who “knew the ways of different cultures better than he knew himself.”

When he first moved to New York, he was in the midst of an affair with Alexandra McNear, a girl from Occidental. They exchanged a series of purple letters with one another – turgid missives from overfevered young minds. Here, for example, is tendentious Obama explaining poetry to his young girlfriend:

I haven’t read “The Waste Land” for a year, and I never did bother to check all the footnotes. But I will hazard these statements—Eliot contains the same ecstatic vision which runs from Münzer to Yeats. However, he retains a grounding in the social reality/order of his time. Facing what he perceives as a choice between ecstatic chaos and lifeless mechanistic order, he accedes to maintaining a separation of asexual purity and brutal sexual reality. And he wears a stoical face before this. Read his essay on Tradition and the Individual Talent, as well as Four Quartets,

Aw, she’s real. If they were going to photoshop they would have picked a feminine hot woman.

Most gay guys have been with women.

If this story has “legs” (and not just a fat head, ha ha); there should soon be lots of other sites with the photo.

Seems I’m reading Drudge is about to break with some Reggie Love stuff?

So that’s why the fanfare about the previous “girlfriends”.

I KNEW some homo-dom news was about to break open, had to be.

It's time everyone knew who was *really* running the show last year.

Of course she’s real, it’s the rest of the composition that’s in question. I’m inclined to agree, there might have been a female friend or two...he has two children and is obviously bi-sexual, something that isn’t uncommon.
What I was referring to as a mistake was to show him wearing the same jacket in 1982 - as he is wearing in an image which is claimed to be from his ‘first’ visit to Kenya in 1987.

Members of the Kogele clan maintain he was there in 1983, shortly after the death of the old man...and that would appear to be correct, unless you think he wore that same jacket for FIVE YEARS.

That's not quite the whole story.

After a brief stint pinch running for the visiting team, Susan returned to the lineup for the home team.

She had a whirlwind romance with George and they became engaged to be married.

The ending was not to be found in a fairytale however.

George was assigned the task of buying the wedding invitation envelopes. Being a Costanza, George opted for the cheap ones. Upon licking the envelopes to seal them Susan died a tragic Elizabethan death worthy of William Shakespeare. Ok, so she croaked in the local hospital.

I feel better now! :)

Pinging you to a reason these previous “girlfriends” are being trotted out.

And a comment further down:

Drudge is going to go nuclear on Obama’s relationship with Reggie Love and the Kenyan is preparing their defense. Worst-kept secret in DC.

the teabagging picture has been on the net since at least last year...I had never seen it. Wonder why that didn’t really reach the masses

Of course, now Drudge is ready to go to bat for Romney

I don't believe for one second that he wrote that.

The man(?) is a simpleton and an ideologue. A walk through the lake of his soul would scarcely get your feet wet. (Although they would be quite dirty.)

Obama used to have a big head and when it got dangerous for his health, the commie handlers, I mean doctors, extracted some of their programming. It reduced the size 20%, intelligence 50%, but unfortunately maintained 100% of the ego.
