It only took nearly six years for the media to begin vetting President Obama’s past.

Today, Vanity Fair released an excerpt from a new biography of Barack Obama by David Maraniss. The excerpt discusses Barack Obama's first love affair, with a white Australian woman named Genevieve Cook. It's a telling examination of who Obama was as a young man -- and it shows a self-absorbed "internationalist" with delusions of grandeur.

The book itself sounds like an ode to Obama. Maraniss writes, “At age 20, Obama was a man of the world … He could not be of one place, rooted and provincial.” No, says Maraniss, this was a broadminded young man who “knew the ways of different cultures better than he knew himself.”

When he first moved to New York, he was in the midst of an affair with Alexandra McNear, a girl from Occidental. They exchanged a series of purple letters with one another – turgid missives from overfevered young minds. Here, for example, is tendentious Obama explaining poetry to his young girlfriend:

I haven’t read “The Waste Land” for a year, and I never did bother to check all the footnotes. But I will hazard these statements—Eliot contains the same ecstatic vision which runs from Münzer to Yeats. However, he retains a grounding in the social reality/order of his time. Your photo analysis shows a woman known to be 5'7" with a man who is no more than 5'10".

The man is not Obama-Soetero who is 6'1".

In addition to the over-large head, we see it extends to cover where a normal man's neck would be--perhaps concealing a "typically white" neck"--

I found these pictures here

The marking along the top of tree line I did indicates that the trees all grew at approx the same rate, meaning they are the same type of tree.

Tree growth varies greatly with some growing up to 3-4 feet per year. Most however are 1 - 1 1/2 feet per year.

So I have estimated the story height of the Park Plaza of 12-15 feet. Meaning these trees grew about 24-30 feet from the time the BHO pic was taken to 4/3/2011 when the other pic was taken.

From 1982 to 4/3/2011 is approx 29 years.

So it would appear that the pic with Zippo in it was taken around the time he was supposed to be at Columbia. We just don't know who is wearing that jacket.

This one, Mohamed Moustafa, received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer and Systems Engineering from Ain Shams University (ASU), Cairo, Egypt, in 1993 and 1997 doesn't give his age...possibly the same but doubtful imo.

Then it shows up in Kenya in that photograph in which he is standing forward of the two Luo he claims are half-brothers...and now we see it again in an image beside Geneveive Cook, BUT IT’S NOT HIS HEAD!

What is posted in the newspaper could be irrelevant.

It appears the Stepfather is of the family that was protected by Kennedy by doing an end run around the Senate. The one targeted by McCarthy.

It’s possible her husband was an accountant and then went for another degree.

It is also possible he had nothing to do with accounting and that was just the front.

I am sure there are many people with that name in Egypt.

His head is so large it’s grotesque, he doesn’t have a neck...yes, I do believe he was in Central Park on his own, wearing the same jacket and ring, he is shown sitting on Bow Bridge with the Plaza Hotel and a lake in the background, he was inserted between the Dubhams on the bench...and yes, in Kenya the jacket does look somewhat older, and the full Kenya group is posted now, it’s still on the web, see Google ‘Obama in Kenya’

Interesting tree-lines. Up until today I never doubted that the image of zero sitting on what looks like the region of Bow Bridge with the lake and the Plaza Hotel in the background was real...they needed him in various poses to create one that was just right to insert between the Dunhams on the bench.
What you can’t be certain of now is, does that head belong to the body and the jacket? Maybe only the jacket is real...

Ask yourself, if that image of big headed zero was real, and it was him to start with, why tamper with it? Just to give us something to focus on?

I have a confession: I saw that here on FR; if I recall correctly, that was actually a *North Korean* photoshop of one of their soldiers being escorted by a couple of ROK troops. They photoshopped him to hide the NK-malnutrition-induced lack of growth among NK troops.

Full Disclosure: I once recall hearing that the Soviet Unio had one of their main battle tanks designed such that the gunner had to be five foot tall or shorter (or somesuch)...and consequently had manpower problems supplying enough gunners.

Methinks they should get together with the Norks and swing a deal.
