One of the reasons I spend so much less time around here these days is 'fear'

..and as stated prior the reason you've voting for Romney is also 'fear' of Obama.

Sop Being Afraid!

“Luckily we’re not fighting WWII. Then any supporting the Allies would be accused of being Stalin-loving communists by this “logic.””

Only sovereign powers of compatible strength and mutual interest can be allies. Such was the case of your example concerning the America seventy years ago.

This is 2012 and our America, constitutionally and as her citizens have grown up to perceive her, has ceased to exist, and everybody knows it. Stalin is not in Moscow, he is in the White House. Kruhschev may be a vast improvement, but HOW DARE anybody castigate a conservative as being a supporter of communism for refusing this “sop” that’s supposed to satisfy us, this miniscule concession to distract our attention while the left prepares their game plan.

The only thing historians will note about us in this year of our history, is how the left managed to nimbly both make us run scared AND pull our strings, while guiding us onto a reservation where we thoughtfully pay for the barbed wire and guard towers and machine guns of our watchers, ourselves.

For the first time in our nation’s history the commitment of our government to do battle with enemies foreign and domestic, means there are more gun barrels dedicated to pacifying American citizens than foreign enemies. This alien entity in Washington has now made the constitution itself the “axis of evil”, and conservatives who defend it Public Enemy Number One. Am I f***ing exaggerating.

Now they’ve masterfully prepared an election our supposed “choice” is either a socialist or a socialist, and Republicans divided in their own camps over the outcome, each calling the other the worse socialists. Well, guess what...we are living in the Socialist United States, congratulations...we’re all socialists!

Conservatives, however, are not divided over their choice, because under our principles and constiutional imperatives,in our queer beliefs about Liberty we recognize little substantive choice, and see little change in our eventual outcome...there are new players to the game, but the table is still fixed. True conservatives are not citizens of this country, IMO. They are citizens of the country that was, and can be again. America.

Our biggest weakness was comfort in our dominating world power and invulnerability, and standing in front of the grave of the America we knew is a hard thorny horror to swallow. Some people are in the blame game, others are in denial...we all are going through a grief process. But I’ll say it until I’m cold and dead, America is waiting to be born again, and we already know what it’s going to take, and it begins not with blood, but with the same tactic the usurpers used to put our backs against the wall: Fear. The only thing it yakes is for the arrogant Godless POS to see ordinary folks interrupting the sleepwalkers’ day with tbe same in your face organizing, civil disobedience, and infiltration that makes the liberals feel they’re in a nightmare where the Sixties have returned, except the hippies are all Conservative, and not quite the pacifists of the old bunch. We’re going to make it cool to be conservative, man...rebels against the establishment, dude. And when we have a Woodstock in DC with +5,000,000 and shut that sewer down, every POS on the planet will $hi+ a collective brick.

How much of your life, liberty and substance would you be willing to give to see this on tomorrow’s headlines...

America. She is risen.

Isn’t ironic that you question me being a conservative for opposing Obama and Romney? When did conservatives start supporting candidates who advocate government mandates, socialized healthcare, tax payer subsidized abortions, global warming etc?

A Romney supporter questioning someone’s conservative credentials....now that’s funny. Ha ha ha.

As a lifetime conservative activist, I find your post amusing.

But I find your lack of understanding about Obama reprehensible. No one claiming conservatism should be as ignorant as you are.

So do your homework before November and find out what this 'turd' is doing, and what it really means to our liberty.

Until then.....

see what you can do at the convention to change that if you will...but after that....you are either for the Republican candidate or you are for OBAMA.

its over....we need to get zer0 OUT NOW.

that's it...stay home? you are for Obama...vote for a 3rd party or write in...you are for Obama.

you can delude yourself into thinking otherwise but you would be just kidding yourself.

False dichotomy. The GOP is committing suicide and that isn’t my fault. The GOP needs to go the way of the Whigs. There is no excuse for them pushing Romney, none.

I’m not for Obama, but I am not for Romney either. I will vote my conscience and trust God not man to see this country through this unmitigated disaster of an election. I believe this country is paying for its sins.

If you vote for Romney, you are supporting abortion, socialism, gun control, and Obamacare. You are the one making yourself a party to evil and I won’t do that.

I won’t stay home, I never do. I will vote for the most conservative candidates and Romney ain’t even close to conservative.

I find it fascinating that none of you I-hate-Romney-more-than-I-hate-Obama folks have answered any of the specifics I've brought forth about the difference between the two.

SC Justices like Sotomayor and Kagan? You're fine with two more of them?
Atty Gen like Holder? Criminal, Communist? Romney would do as badly?

Communist, Maoist advisors? EPA terrorism? Pro-infanticide? Hostile against religious liberty with blatant attempts to deny pro-lifers that liberty? Race baiting, vile name-calling of Tea Party people like us? Hatred for the military? Handcuffing them on the field of battle? Appeasement of our enemies, negotiating with terrorists, anti-Israel policy?? Defiance of the law and the Constitution and the balance of powers between the SC and the Congress? Vitriol against America and Americans? Vile, narcissistic, perhaps sociopathic, characterless person??

You OK with all that (and far more), and still use "Reagan" in your screenname??

That's some chutzpah, my friend....

Yes, Romney would be that bad. You are deluding yourself if you think otherwise. This site is FULL of Romney’s bad policies and socialism. Do some research.

Wow. Nothing more to say to you.......you've apparently gone round the bend and there's nothing that can be done about it.

(Unbelieveable........you have no memory of the real Reagan, do you?)

I'm glad that there are so few of you (at least I hope there aren't very many like you), and am praying with all my might that there aren't enough of you to sway the election in Obama's favor.

Good luck to you and your potential recovery....

Yes, I do remember Reagan and Romney is the antithesis of Reagan.

If Romney can leave the GOP to protest Reagan, I can leave it to protest Romney.

If Romney wins, withing 6 months you will be crying “dear God, what did we do?!?”

If Romney wins I will be thanking God daily that the scourge of Communism has been defeated (at least for now), and that we have a second chance to regroup, as Conservatives and rescue the country. I will be thanking God daily for His Mercy in saving us from an atheistic, America-hating MONSTER bent on destroying you and me, reaganaut.....YOU too.

I am going to be working here in Ohio to help Josh Mandel beat Communist Sherrod Brown, and will do anything I can to save this country from destruction....and that means defeating the Communist PUNK who wants to be Dictator.

If you get your way and Obama wins, I at least will know that I did what I could to prevent the complete destruction of America that will surely come, and that you facilitated.

Again....good luck in your recovery. There is no point in arguing with one who sees so dimly, and thinks so little. My points have been made for the lurkers who have functioning minds, not for you, so there is no need for you to reply. And there will be no more replies from me to you, because at this point, I am just enabling your Obama-is-no-big-deal distortions.

May God protect us from pseudo-conservatives who don't see Obama as a problem, and may God show His Divine Mercy on America, and help us rid this country of its foulest scourge.

One last thought.......if Obama wins (with your help), within 6 months will you be praising God for your victory over Romney, and the end of America as we know it?

Don't answer that. We already know.

Rather than claim Romney didn't win, its better to explain that it was his method of winning that you object to.

Running attack ads--They all did it, but Romney had the most money and thus was able to inundate the airwaves. There is nothing wrong with paid advertising. Check out the ads run by all the candidates. Sadly, they're all politicians and they all told lies about one thing or another.

If Drudgereport supported Romney, more fool them. Their support didn't decide the election.

In the end, it came down to the fact that Romney had more money, more organization (he's been running since 2004) and more people on the ground. Some of the candidates not being on the ballet in some states wasn't the doing of Romney, it was due to their own disorganization. Santorum, for example was suprised himself by his success and just wasn't ready to capitalize on it.

Romney isn't the best of the lot (in fact he's the worst, except maybe for Paul), but he did win.

. I held my nose and voted for Dole, Bush, and McCain. I’m done.

Hear you, but Bubba was at least a moderate...not a full blown Maxist. I held my nose also during those elections, as well.

Zero will destroy the country beyond repair if he is re-elected. At least we have a chance with the second crappy choice. Unfortunately, I believe at least 5% of the base will stay home so the maxist-in-chief will probably get reelected anyway. Am praying for a miracle...

You do not respect anyone with whom you disagree.

That is not correct, and it is an irrational exaggeration of what I posted. It is a classic "hasty generalization" fallacy.

I noted a few specific examples of people whose opinions I have no respect or admiration of. I believe they are reprehensible.

You extrapolated that to the above statement. I disagree with Jeff Head, for example, on many of his views on China and Missile Defense. But I absolutely respect him and his work ethic as a person, but we agree to disagree on some things.

Not every opinion from everyone deserves respect. Nor should you desire my respect if you really are intent on teaching the GOPe a lesson by allowing a vote for Obama to go uncanceled.

You claim that it is inconceivable that I might not respect anyone's opinions and decisions.

Are you telling me you respect Reverend Wright's belief in Black Liberation Theology? Are you saying that a belief in prohibiting women to drive and walk alone in public should be respected?

don't set your standard up for defining true conservative. Most true conservatives will be voting for Romney.

How funny is that! You just did set your standard.

So you are just another 'do as I say and not as I do', LIBERAL!

However the anti Romney cult, of which you are obviously a member, won't.

That does't make you a true conservative. ...It makes you a true _______

CHRISTIAN!! - GOD is #1 to CHRISTIANS! - GOD-FAMILY-COUNTRY.

Don't look now but that's what this site believes in. You must have come here for other reasons to have ignored/not known it.
