That is true, but even then i do think God had a hand in making sure the Jews survived and didnt become extinct through it all. The Holocaust was simply one in a very long list of attempts to exterminate Jewish people. Why God had 6 million of them die before ensuring their survival ? That’s kind of like asking why God allows people to get killed or die of cancer even today-only God can answer it. I do suspect that God wanted to show the Jews that they cannot ever again rely on others to protect them and save them from persecutors who want them destroyed. We all knew the Holocaust would not be the last time someone tried to eliminate the Jews forever.
