And THAT folks is how our system works. Those who understand and work the system will almost always get their way over someone who works outside the system.

Well Michele, there are 435 members of the House and you are just one of them. I don’t hear many of the other 434 members ‘endorsing’ the RINO Liar.

No one asked you to ‘endorse’ the RINO Liar except perhaps the Liar himself or you decided to suck up to the his people in order to get a shot at a cabinet post.

Your credibility and leadership just took another hit and is a further notch down on the list of credible conservatives.

Speaker of the House you will not be.

Remember

Well I was trashing all those who endorsed Obama in 2008 at another site before Obama won the nomination. This is the same in reverse. GOP sucking up to Romney. Knowing full well he is dangerous. You don’t hear them take on the GOP.

I prefer them to take on the Obama regime rather than the GOP. They took on those they opposed in the GOP during the primary. That was the time and fight then. Now the fight is against Obama and they are uniting to defeat him.

I think that’s a good thing.

She either joins the great majority of conservatives is fighting to defeat the entire Obama machine, or sits it out. Or fights with Obama to defeat his opponent.

Seems to me it’s a no-brainer.

Two words: Barack Obama ______________________________________________________________ YES!! I wish Michelle could convince my Conservative "purist" brothers and sisters, who will sit out the Election or vote Third Party, of the seriousness of it all. We have to play the hand we've been dealt. Hell, I didn't even get a say in who B. Hussein's opponent will be. I live in Texas and we don't even have our Primary until May 29th. Thanks New Hampshire, Maryland and Connecticut for choosing my nominee for me.

I am frustrated that we didn’t take advantage of the primary’s like we should have. That’s a RNC thing and it needs to be rectified. We cannot allow our nominee to be selected by this way.

As of now, we have two choices to who is going to lead our country. One is a communist, and one is a Liberal Republican. One will come into your house and burn it completely do the ground. The other will come in and steal some things, but leave the rest intact.

I do not like Romney, and will be just as active fighting his policies as I am with Obama and other Libs. But Romney will get my vote compared to Obama.

Virgil Goode for President 2012.

Considering 99% of Americans never heard of him, a vote for this guy is simply a way for false conservatives or very foolish ones to help 0bama get re-elected.

"Why can’t you support this Goode guy?"

Because he won't win. Therefore, a vote for him is a vote for $8 gasoline, trillions more in deficits, thousands more in highway deaths in paper mache' death traps, death panels to decide when you and I will die, no gas and oil wells on public land, and Marxist puppet majorities on the supreme court.

Same was said of Clinton. We are still here.

Romney will appoint liberal judges.

Romney will advance gay marriage.

Romney will push for gun control.

Etc.

No conservatives will still be herein 2014 and 2016. The question is will they have a party? If Romney wins the WH which he won’t, they will have no party. If he loses the WH which he will, conservatives will take the GOP and flush out the liberal scum from its ranks.

If we support Romney this round, whose to say that they won’t put up Lindsey Graham next round or bloomburg or Susan Collins. The GOPe will go as far left as they can if they can get away with it. You vote for Romney and you are supporting the GOP going left.

ROMNEYCARE = OBAMACARE

Not true.

Those who had no insurance are under Romneycare, are now able to get coverage. So instead of dropping in on the emergency room for their medical care they can make appointments to see a Dr. Romneycare is aimed at the small segment of uninsured.

She had no choice. It is what it is folks. If any have watched the last day with BO new campaign, “FORWARD”, it has now become abundantly clear of his intentions. He gets in we are done, and then he will say,”weren’t you paying attention? I said we were going to move FORWARD”.

Frightening and chilling.

Michelle is still a patriot and I hope she can stay in the arena of ideas and speak out. My only hope is that Romney wins and we take the Senate. The Teaparty rises up and guides policy further.

One can only hope and pray it works.

Some people love the USA more than they hate the liberals.

I know that’s going to get me slammed but after seeing Avengers last night and having to get up this morning, my filter is slipping.

Liberals I can deal with, at least there is hope with them. Not with the Communists and Jihadis that are in the government right now.

We have to play the hand we've been dealt.

Something lost on the head cases that use this forum to post their delusional "thoughts," to use the word advisedly, about some unknown guy getting elected.

It seems that FR is selecting for shrill headcases that are impervious to reason. Back when Neut burbled out his idiotic statement about a moon base and a Mars mission, I had some guy tell me that interstellar travel was possible. I can only assume that his conviction about interstellar travel came from his being abducted by aliens. I had some woman tell me that the government doing a background check before allowing you to buy a gun was a good thing. I had some a-hole call me a parasite because I thought that there were too many people on welfare. Frankly I'm getting kind of fed up with the wack jobs that hang around here.

I've noticed, over the past few weeks, how many on this forum have transformed from "I'll hold my nose" and vote for Romney to stop Obama to defending Romney and the corrupt primary system that put us in this position in the first place.

I expect by November, many will worship the ground Romney walks on.

I find it amazing poster are accused of being a troll, on a conservative site, because you refuse to support a socialist.

I wish there was a Republican Party where we could vote for a Presidential candidate because we LIKED them. Or even sort of agreed with them.

Instead, some are sitting here fawning over who gets to sit in the the back of the bus again, just the way our GOP-E 'betters' want it.

You said it.
Don’t vote = Obama win
write-in = Obama win
3rd party vote = Obama win

All:
You can exercise any 3 of the options above. That’s your option. But don’t pretend that you stand on high moral ground if you do. You will not have done anything morally superior because you will have done your part to give us 4 more years of Obama. Nothing superior about that, as we’ve already learned by experience.

I agree with your comment about the Republican party and its pathetic set of candidates, all the while knowing that I will vote for the candidate most likely to defeat him. Goode may be a wonderful candidate, but he isn’t going to win. The candidate most likely to defeat O. may, indeed, be nearly as bad, but I just can’t leave us to face 4 more years of the scourge that is Obama. I cannot.

Here’s the elephant in the room: All of the major political figures that those on this site respect have come out and said that hands down it is an easy decision to support Romney given that Obama is the democratic candidate. So all of these “ideal” former candidates / political figures recognize that there is a material difference between Obama and WHOEVER the Republicans nominate. (Note: that material difference is going to make a MATERIAL differnce in YOUR life). But life goes on and no one here offers a coherent explanation as to how this can possibly be. Obama is going to continue to destroy this country. At least with Romney we might get a temporary reprieve.

You left out the fourth option - Vote for Romney, Obama still wins.

I am curious how a guy with an approval rating of 34 percent - BEFORE the Obama slime machine turns both barrels on him - can win in November. And that is the point. The GOP-E stood back as Romney used scorched-earth campaigning to destroy any alternative to his inherently unpopular candidacy. And the GOP-E has knifed candidates in the back repeatedly for the last four years, from Sarah Palin in 2008 to Tea Party candidates in 2012. Yet they seem to think that they can yell at conservative skeptics of Romney and demand they fall in line for yet another RINO losing cause.

Sorry, it's going to take a LOT more than that.
