To knock off the infighting on FR and concentrate on electing conservatives instead. I don’t know about others, but I personally cannot vote for Romney, but I will turn out and vote for every conservative on my ballot. Regardless of the outcome of the presidential race, we must build on our majorities at the local state and federal levels and we must retake the senate.

We must have conservative majorities so we can control the agenda and or impeach the usurpers no matter who wins!!

Dear Jim Robinson,

“To knock off the infighting on FR and concentrate on electing conservatives instead. I don’t know about others, but I personally cannot vote for Romney, but I will turn out and vote for every conservative on my ballot.”

Okay. I understand your view. That's where I was when it looked, early in ‘08, like Giuliani might take the nomination. This time, the line in the sand that I draw is just a micron beyond where Romney is, so I can (barely) vote for him. And in that I can, I must, as the alternative is the Kenyan anti-Christ.

But, again, forgive me for the need for a little more specificity. Does this mean that folks may generally say pro-Romney things? Argue for Romney (civilly, of course)? Engage in the sort of behavior in favor of Romney that posters could in favor of other candidates, like Santorum (for whom I actually voted in my own Maryland primary, to absolutely no avail), Gingrich or Perry?

Where are the boundaries?

I ask so that folks can know, and maybe fewer bannings might result.

Thanks,

sitetest

I'm FULLY on board with that and sincerely hope this brings the purges and putsches to an abrupt end!

I've heard it said that one of the key offices is your local Sheriff. Having a man of character that can refuse an order because of conscience due to an immoral order from a superior is quite beneficial. Even if the most he can do is give you a call ahead of time to "let you know he's been ordered to "visit" you."

There are around a dozen USA Presidential Elections a person can vote in during their entire lifetime. I am not compromising on the few that are left. ProLife, ProFamily, ProBalancedBudget.....I will vote, the rest of the way, the Right Way, Right Wing.

To: Jim Robinson; All

This is going to be a long post, since I posted this earlier elsewhere, but I think it’s relevant here as well, because, like many other, I firmly believe we haven’t a scintilla of a chance to prevent the next four years of OB’s continued destruction of the USA unless we ALL commit to there being one and ONLY one issue for the 2012 election and that is to defeat OB.

And re the concept of “... the POTUS doesn’t really matter, let’s at least get solid control of the Congress ...”, please keep in mind that OB has set such a horrendous pile of steaming precedents, (czars, executive orders, agency atrocities - think TSA, EPA, DOE, DOA) that I seriously doubt even with our control of Congress he’ll be hampered much in executing the rest of his plan to destroy this country.

Here’s what’s evolved in my befuddled brain recently:
The puppet masters, never to be viewed as not being VERY wily and smart, have set up an environment that will ensure OB’s second term in order to complete the destruction of mankind’s only real source of personal freedom (ie the USA).

They are going to field a ticket for the pubs that is so obnoxious to a great percentage of the conservative base that they WILL succeed in DIVIDE & CONQUER, with many not voting, voting for unelectable candidates or write-ins.

That is the only explanation I have been able to come up with for all the maneuvering and media blackout of the subject that has taken place re the NBC/eligibility issue and the continued bandying about of NON-NBC guys like Rubio and Jindal.

We’ll have to see what the final result is, but I for one am VERY concerned that the BIG FIX is in place already and it’s so well orchestrated that this DIVIDE & CONQUER PLAN is now the invisible elephant in the room we’re all just shouting in the wind when we carry on about all the other issues (ie planned and organized distractions) of the day.

Keep in mind how close EVERY poll is between OB and ANY challenger, when from ANY logical point of view OB should be polling down in the single digits by now. He is being supported and will be until they are dead and buried, (and by some them even after that has occurred if you know what I mean), by the DYED IN THE WOOL, slightly less than 50% voting block who:

(a) depend on him for their livelihood and goodies,
(b) are guilt ridden middle and upper class types who have to prove their compassionateness and political correctness and fairness to themselves and everyone else,
(c) just plain hate the USA for their own twisted reasons, but who have never tried to exist anywhere else on the planet,
(d) just have have no personal ambition and are perfectly content to bathe only occasionally, walk or bike everywhere and basically just exist, contributing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to society,
(e) lack the maturity gene, sit around humming cumbaya and simply want, (in the words of that most eloquent philosopher Rodney King), “... everyone to just get along ...” (and the 1% to pay their “fair” share)

Re that last comment, the other day I listened to Micahel Medved spend about five (5) minutes trying to get some liberal spokeshole moron to commit to a specific TOTAL (ALL forms - local state, fed and hidden) percentage that the EVIL 1% should have to pay in taxes in order to to satisfy the feel good guys.

It was pathetically comical to listen to the weasel trying to evade the question. His responses ranged from “I’m not an economist” to “I don’t really know what the federal rate should be” to FINALLY “I think 39% (just for federal taxes) is about right”.

A-MAZING

I am with you Jim. I can’t vote for a liberal democrat in republican clothing aka Romney. But will do all I can to vote conservatives into office.

If you can't vote for Romney do what you can to pump turnout for the down ticket races.

I am going to do what it takes to fire 0 -- and that means at this point voting for Mitt.

I respect your decision though.

"I don’t know about others, but I personally cannot vote for Romney, "

Great. I'm relieved that a truce does not include voting for Romney. Pick and choose the conservative holds the most promising for the future. That said those acclaiming 'I am a conservative' sounds like "I am Spartacus'. It has become self-defining.

My own definition is 1] supporting ending Roe v Wade. 2} no long term war actions without a formal Congressional declaration of war. 3} Restore the power of our production capability to make what we import.

Jim, you and I are somewhat fortunate in the fact that we live in a state where our vote in the presidential race is meaningless - Obama will probably win CA by 20 points. So we can choose not to vote for Romney without it having any actual effect on the outcome. For those who are in swing states where their vote actually can have an impact, I hope they will hold their nose and vote against Obama.

BRAVO! Jim
I’m with you. Supporting and voting for Conservative candidates down ballot is all important. It does make a difference. Lugar is losing to Mourdock, the conservative and Elizabeth Warren, Miss Fake Cherokee affirmative action is like dropping out giving Scott Brown a chance to keep the seat.

As I feared, your call for a truce has been misread, and to Romney-ites previously in hiding on FR have started to monopolize threads.

I cannot, and will not bring myself to vote for someone who does not share my values. I cannot be convinced to vote Romney.

Pardon me Jim but the powers (truly) have spoken and Mitt is the nominee. I don't see ant amount of whining and your banning someone who may actually want Mitt. He sure isn't my choice (dare I say I would prefer Palin or Newt or any number of more conservative candidates) but he is going to be the runner and badmouthing those that picked him ain't going to get ‘er done.

It has taken 70 years for the libs to get this far. It is going to take more than one election to go back to more conservative times.

This is pretty much where I am, Jim.

This is going to be a tough election season. I still can’t believe it’s come to this after all the hard work and successes of 2010.

We still have a LOT of work to do, don’t we?

After all the Santorum versus Newt versus Paul versus Cain versus Perry versus Bachmann etc. etc. it would be good to stop all the fighting.

I can’t vote for Romney no matter how much the RINOstream media whoops it up against Obama.

I’d be voting for Romney based on fear and resentment.

I’m not going that way but I am going to support conservative candidates and causes in the months ahead starting with the defense of Scott Walker in Wisconsin.

I will also support the congressional candidacy of Keith Rothfus in the 12th District of Pennsylvania.

Rothfus is taking on former John Murtha aide Mark Critz who currently holds the seat.
