I've had to take a pay cut in order to keep my job, and my employer -- who is a small business owner -- has already told us that they are going to have to dissolve the business. So I'm going to be unemployed

Get out of California as fast as possible!

Working on the Bakken means we need to frac the wells that are drilled.
Should Zero win re-election the EPA has a new set of regulations concerning fracing all set to go.

I will be out of a job...I think.
50 years of fracing and not one example of ground water contamination but the EPA is going to help anyway

She was from Union City TN, an apt name. The largest employer there, Goodyear Tire shut a large plant last year. The United Steel Workers there finally voted themselves out of good paying jobs by being the only plant not to ratify the labor contract that every other US plant accepted for about the third straight time

There is a woman I know casually through my job, she was a regular lunchtime companion of another woman who worked at my office.

This lady is going to be losing her job in a few months because her employer (I think they are some big foreign owned investment company) is closing the office in our city and laying off other people in other locations.

So, things are not getting better I’m afraid.
