Prepare for incoming fire. But I’m with you. No way I’m voting for Romney. The GOP-e owns the guilt for Obama’s second term. I have principles — though I abandoned them in 2008 and voted for McCain, I will not abandon my principles in 2012. No Romney. I’ll let the unprincipled folks vote for Mitt ;)

I believe the election results are as follows:

Obama wins = A united GOP and Center Right opposing every breath he takes. We win the US House and Senate.

A Romney win = A Divided GOP where Romney gives us the same socialism as Obama, but the broken glass Republicans and Get along media call the conservative movement dead and unneeded.

That is obviously the greater not lessor evil.

Holy crap, what makes you think that this Marxist dictator is going to become a “lame duck”. More like wounded wild pig. He is going to destroy everything in his path unabated.

The Constitution and Congress have NEVER stood in his way before. Did you miss the “executive orders” this guy uses right and left? How about those “recess appointments” when the congress was in in recess?

People, wake up.

“I think the old standby definitions of who votes for which party have been blown away in this campaign. I think people recognize that I’m not a partisan Republican—that I’m someone who is moderate, and that my views are progressive.”
-Mitt Romney (2002)

Video of the quote:

Obama continued: “I am somebody who is no doubt progressive. I believe in a tax code that we need to make more fair. I believe in universal health care. I believe in making college affordable. I believe in paying our teachers more money. I believe in early childhood education. I believe in a whole lot of things that make me progressive.”

(Posted this before here)

If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favorable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.- Winston Churchill

Churchill didn't give up his values when allying with the devil (Stalin) against Hitler nor did he settle. He just played the best strategic move he had at the time. Hitler was a direct short-term invasionary threat. Stalin could be mitigated in the longer term. Sometimes the direct threat is so great, the alternatives make for strange beadfellows.

It is chess, not checkers.

Cicero said it 2000 years ago: The enemy within the gates (of your party) is a greater threat than the obvious enemy outside the gates.

The enemy within will END the GOP and reduce the Conservative movement to a European Racist afterthought. Romney will be the NEW “Right” and Obama the “Left”.

We cannot let them move the chains !!

Or we will be wearing chains.

Considering that write-in votes in most states are never counted, we won't know, but if they were and they cause even one elector to vote for Obama, you really can't blame the so called "e" for that. Especially as said governor said she didn't want to run for President and basically endorsed ABO.

Ditto, except that I am Jewish. My hatred of Obama and his ilk and their goal of “transforming America” and my fear of what a 2nd Fauxbama term will do to this country far outweigh my dislike of Romney.

NOBODY gets everything that they want in politics. Sometimes you settle for what you can get now, and work harder and smarter to change the calculus for the next time. First stop a disaster, then work to perfect things. If your house is on fire, do you first put it out, or do you stand around complaining about someone being careless or the failure of the sprinkler?

No one is suggesting a vote FOR any evil.

Obama is EVIL. But he is the obvious evil.

As evidenced by this thread we ARE Divided. I am only pointing out this fact already exists.

A Romney Presidency will exploit this to OUR Ruin.

There is No Grace or Redemption possible if Romney wins without US. We will be unneeded.

He skipped Iowa, flip flops every single day on issues.

Once he wins you expect him to do anything except finish us off?

Bush’s betrayals cost us the blue wave in 2006 and 2008.

We must make this stand. DOWN BALLOT ONLY !!

Cicero said it 2000 years ago: The enemy within the gates (of your party) is a greater threat than the obvious enemy outside the gates.

There is the problem, you have it backwards. The enemy in the gates is the one sitting at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue. This isn't about parties, this is about who is going to be Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces. That is the stronghold, not the party. If the thought of our warriors saluting Obama for another four years is fine with you because of party politics, I'll let you tell men like this they have to continue to salute Obama.

Is this liberal propaganda? Trying to say Obama is better than Romney? Wake up people! It is Romney or ruin!

Romney was my last choice of the republican slate. No matter what I think of him now, he is the lesser of two evils. Looking back, without the convenience of the Internet, I recall massive negative articles written about Ronald Reagan, and many of them from the GOP, and an assortment of conservatives, along with the democrats. Everything wrong with California, was laid in Reagan's lap, or so said the pundits at that time. I'm not enlightened by Romney, but there is a chance that he won't be the disappointment most of us expect. We are due for a pleasant surprise. I hope and pray he is up for the role of a lifetime. We will be watching!

You really think an Obama win will unite GOP RINO’s and Conservatives.?

The GOP will RINO’s will continue to do exactly what they did this year: Hide in their closets, they will cry a lot, with Boehner and kiss Harry Reid’s ass l;ike McConne;ll.

An Obama win means more socialism, more debt, more Dictatorship, more military cuts, more Obamacare.
