"It's very easy to criticize people. I think he's done a good job. He's done other things that maybe he should have been a little stronger about, people will complain. But it's not easy to be President of the United States," said De Niro on NBC's "Press Pass" with David Gregory on Friday.

"I give him credit and I hope he does ... I know he'll do better in the next four years, when he won't have to worry whether he's gonna be elected or not," De Niro continued.

I wonder if De Niro pays his taxes? Another useless tool for the left.

“””I give him credit and I hope he does ... I know he’ll do better in the next four years, when he won’t have to worry whether he’s gonna be elected or not,” De Niro continued””

Better for whom, genius?

There’s as much chance of that happening as De Niro making a good movie in the next 4 years.

That is America’s biggest fear..

Now, why on earth do you suppose DeNiro would rally around a pResident that's done nothing positive for his Country?..Could there be another reason???.

I hope he does better too. I hope that in the next 4 years, after he has been defeated in November, that he becomes insanely rich, moves to his own island (a la Marlon Brando) and leaves us all alone.

Robert de Niro can go stay with him as a long term house guest, as far as I’m concerned. It will be a real California Hotel, where the guest check in, but cannot check out. Let them wallow in their own decadence.

Robert DeNiro is a disgrace to us Italians. Great actor, once, long ago!!! Now....a pure dummy who has lost both his acting skills and brains. Mr. DeNero is either smoking reefer or drinking too much kool-aid!!!

Unless they’re up on the screen, actors have nothing to say worth listening to. De Niro was a helluva actor in Godfather II, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Goodfellas. But those were all a long time ago.

So is this an admission that NBC can’t get any more insightful commentator on politics than a washed-up old hack actor?

Isn’t the definition of insanity repeating the same behavior but expecting a different result? I guess DeNiro must be insane.

He’ll avoid prosecution?

He’ll be well-paid by our enemies?

How exactly will he “do better”???

He’s had a few good ones, but mostly I think he badly overacts.

I’ve seen DeNiro in real life. Like most actors he’s much smaller and more delicate than he appears onscreen.

another movie “tough guy” has spoken. He was great in “Heat” but is real life he wimps out. So did Clint Eastwood but it took a while. Schwarzenegger turned out to be a big fat lib
