(Reuters) - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney broke with Republican orthodoxy on Friday by saying he believes that humans are responsible, at least to some extent, for climate change.
"I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that," he told a crowd of about 200 at a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.
"It's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors."

I don’t know any Mitt supporters, just people who have been left with the choice of Obama returning or voting for Romney.
My question is, where were all these Mitt haters when he was running against Newt, a man who could have won.
They set Newt up for a killing and got Romney appointed candidate , NOW they hit on Romney.

I will vote for anyone who MAY be able to beat Obama, I don’t intend to piss my vote away on some unknown and cut off my nose to spite my face.
I've noticed a lot of hostility today from the "you have to vote for Romney" crowd. At least, those of us who refuse to vote for Romney don't have to deal with the discomfort which comes from cognitive dissonance. I said five years ago that I would never vote for Romney and I haven't had one scintilla of doubt since that this is the right position.
The next time he says this, someone needs to ask him the one, critical question:
“What evidence would you accept that global warming is *not* man-made?”
The Achilles heel of the MMGW thing is that they absolutely *refuse* to state a “negative case”, some situation, *any* situation, in which MMGW is NOT happening. Until this is done, the MMGW theory has no more credibility than that of a cult religion that promises unicorns riding on moonbeams.
