Another top Obama administration official appeared to break with the president Monday by publicly declaring his support for gay marriage -- something President Obama has not done.
Education Secretary Arne Duncan, in a television interview Monday morning, said unequivocally that he supports gay marriage. Asked if he thinks gay couples should be able to legally marry, he said: "Yes, I do."

Another Obama political struggle-session has begun
I wonder where this campaign is heading?
Here comes a new contrived narrative to distract the voters from Obama’s failures...first a trickle, then a flood, then a monumental screw-up/message fail to turn the tide back. Just wait...
When Arne Duncan was the head of the Chicago Public Schools, he wanted to create a school just for the gender challenged.
That’s not much of a surprise - if you were to ask Education Secretary Arne Duncan whether he believed that the State should own all of the means of production and ban the ownership of all private property, you would probably get a “yes, of course, Comrade” answer to that one, too...
This is the beginning of another contrived issue with the cooperation of the MSM - as when Steffy began the contraception issue in the debates.
Cool your jets, Arne...
The TV news guy was just asking you an interview question.
He was not asking whether you would take him as your lawfully wedded husband...
Gaze north of the border people. In the 2000 federal election, the leadership of the Liberal Party (equivalent to your Dems) publicly opposed “gay” marriage while noisy group within the party pushed it. They even voted overwhelmingly in a non-binding resolution to support traditional marriage. As soon as the election was over they went the other direction (in the face of a number of court rulings) and it was ultimately voted into law. Obama is heading in the same direction. He’ll let Biden and his cabinet send the strong message to the left that the homo-marriage is on its way, while keeping up the pre tense of his personal opposition. The moment the November vote is over he’ll “come out” in favour of this abomination. And Romney, if he manages to pull off a victory, will give very tepid opposition to the Dems.
This is one of those watershed issues where conservatives only have one shot at making it a winner. But it requires clear thinking, bold action and resources. At the moment, Americans would reject this issue at the national level if it was made a prominent issue in the campaign. But Romney will soft peddle it in his misguided attempt to attract Independents. What he’ll do is further alienate conservatives, while letting the Dems portray him as “homophobic”. He’ll lose votes on both sides of the issue.
