Millions of illegal immigrants are getting a bigger tax refund than you. Eyewitness News shows a massive tax loophole that provides billions of dollars in tax credits to undocumented workers and, in many cases, people who have never stepped foot in the United States. And you are paying for it!
Each spring, at tax preparation offices all across the nation, many illegal immigrants are now eagerly filing tax returns to take advantage of a tax loophole, using their ITIN numbers to get huge refunds from the IRS.
The loophole is called the Additional Child Tax Credit. It's a fully-refundable credit of up to $1000 per child, and it's meant to help working families who have children living at home.
"We've seen sometimes 10 or 12 dependents, most times nieces and nephews, on these tax forms," the whistleblower told Eyewitness News. "The more you put on there, the more you get back."
The whistleblower has thousands of examples, and he brought some of them to 13 Investigates.
"Here's a return right here: we've got a $10,3000 refund for nine nieces and nephews," he said, pointing to the words "niece" and "nephew" listed on the tax forms nine separate times.
"We're getting an $11,000 refund on this tax return. There's seven nieces and nephews," he said, pointing to another set of documents. "I can bring out stacks and stacks. It's just so easy it's ridiculous."

It is already outrageous that we allow illegal aliens working for cash to collect this for their kids in the US..never mind the ones outside the US.
The politicians like this program because it allows them to report millions illegal aliens still file tax returns. And now we know why.
Keep in mind. This is one tax preparer in one city in Indianapolis, IN. In the video he shows dozens of tax returns that are fraudulent that the IRS has been notified about.
In just the 4 that all used the same address (one bedroom trailer) there were 20 children claimed and $30,000 in checks that were sent out.
The tax preparer actually said at least one of the tax statements was 100% fraudulent; No person existed for that return.
They are spitting out babies like wet watermelon seeds so they can get welfare and all the free government money and services they can get. More little rats, more cheese!
As a matter of fact that they are in such a production mode of making anchor babies that the little bundles of love are being spit out of both holes in their lower extremities.

Paging Marc Rubio! Someone oughta pass a law, I dunno, a `special path’ or something to assist these poor people breaking our laws, milking our bankrupt treasury and taxing our tottering social services agencies. For example, California spends more on prisons than it does education, so it simply gives early releases to their/our disgruntled foreign guests back into what passes for their society.
Maybe the Obama administration could send them guns along with a few billion fresh-off-the-presses dollars and the remainder of our manufacturing industry. It would probably be cheaper for us if they stayed home and defrauded us by mail and using the computers they buy using the money they send back to Mexico.
It's worse than that. These aren't anchor babies they are getting credit for. You need to watch the video. These kids never lived in the US and the illegals freely admit it.
What is a little fraud to people who are fraudulently in this country to begin with.
What punishment do they face?

Wow. He’s going to go to CONGRESS. I can hear Obama tying his shoes right now getting ready to walk right around them with an executive order. Jarrett is getting the president’s talking points together to justify the executive order.
IT IS NOT A LOOPHOLE, the returns are fradulent. You too could file a return claiming a whole bunch of kids who did not live with you, were out of the country, etc. The question is, would the IRS give your return proper scrutiny seeing as you did not use an ITIN? Do they have instructions to turn a blind eye if an ITIN is used? Does anyone actually verify the documents purported to support the ITIN numbers of the children? ALL IT WOULD TAKE IS SOME DECENT ENFORCEMENT OUT OF THE IRS but that might involve “profiling” tax returns.
Wow. I guess the the government will have to hire 4,000 more IRS agents, on top of the ones they did for the healthcare law, which gives free healthcare to illegals, just to KEEP TRACK of all the illegals now receiving tax refunds!!
We should just put buckets of money on the border and let them come fetch it.
According to the follow excerpt, of the 12-20 million "hardworking, law-abiding, contributing" illegals: 1) only 3 million file tax returns and 2) of those filing the total paid out as tax credits to all illegals is more than the total of taxes collected from all illegals:

* In 2010, the IRS owed undocumented workers more in claimed additional child tax credits than it collected from those workers in taxes.
Deal with that Bush, Perry, Gingrich, Rubio... and all the rest of you "Conservative" apologists for the illegal invaders!
It’s no wonder I see so many of them at the mall buying up the place — struttin’ in their high heels, buying shoes and clothes for all their kids like there’s no tomorrow.
They’ve got a good deal going. Seniore cuts grass, pays his “taxes” and files his returns. Seniorita just stays pregnant, so they can claim the kids WHILE receiving so-called low income welfare and other benefits.
For uneducated peasants, they’re all pretty smart to pull THIS heist off.
