I’m not enthusiastic about Romney, but I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about voting Obama out.

Unfortunately for Romney, while liberal and moderate support for him has predictably waned, the Tea Party enthusiasm that has been winning elections for the GOP in those key “swing states” has yet to rub-off on him.

Gee, I wonder why?

Try inviting all your mooselimb friends to a pig roast, and wonder why they’re “not excited”.

I will be voting Mitt as “Obama prevention,” to be sure,

but this is what nearly every conservative was worried about. It happened with Dole, with McCain and now again with Mitt. Their bumper stickers all could say, “It’s My TURN.”

You people are going to cheer yourselves into another 4 years of Obama, and then spend 4 years whining, complaining, and stocking up on ammo.

Very strange.

Obama will win the liberal States
Romney will LOSE the Conservative States.
Obama will win any toss up States.
End result. Because the GOP forced Romney on us, America gets screwed for another 4 years........

Enthusiasm? What’s that? Oh, yes, that sense of optimism and exhilaration that I was feeling thanks to the combo of the almost-concurrent appearances of Palin and the Tea Party movement. The first time I really fully experienced that since those early, heady days of Reagan.

Nope, Romney and the GOP-e pretty much killed all that, this past year. Totally suffocated it. It’s really amazing when I think about it. The entirity of it, that is. After 15 years of viewership, I’ve stopped watching FoxNews. After 12 years, I’ve stopped visiting Drudge. Just about stopped listening to talk radio. My three-decade status as a news/political junkie seems to be coming to a virtual end. There just doesn’t seem to be any point anymore. That’s the legacy of Romney and this election season for me.

That's okay, Karl Rove told Willard that Conservatives will fall in line by November and show up to vote en masse. He has maps and charts to prove it. Willard should focus on getting the homo, pro-abortion, minority, open borders, and gimme-a-handout vote.

Once November rolls around Willard will have none of the above. Out of all the candidates, the worst possible choice. GOP-e is more concerned about keeping their power within the party and moving further left than saving the country which by the way can only be accomplished with a Conservative President and Congress.

The story is from late last year but I didn’t see it till yesterday but one of the 4 votes to change Michigan delegate allocation rules got in trouble for using fake RNC stationary to push the national popular vote. This is our former GOP chair in Michigan. I’ll bet Mitt has big plans for Saul Anuzis. Mitt sure has run as if he were practicing for the national popular vote. He ignored the conservative areas and ran in Obama strongholds.

In contrast, Obama’s job approval rating has gone up from 42 percent in September to 50 percent today, and his disapproval rating has dropped from 50 percent to 45 percent.

Any yet today, Rasmussen, using LIKELY VOTERS IN HIS POLL, has Romney 49% and the halfrican, communist, mooselimb, prick at 44%... very strange.

But xzins, you would never look for a poll that slants things in your slanted direction, eh?

Why don't you use the poll results from moveon.org, they really have obama winning, and that should make you very happy.

MOOK.

Evidence of Romney's problem in Tea Party influenced states is that while Tea Party and conservative-backed office holders are solidifying their popularity, he does not seem to be benefiting from their popularity.

Mitt Romney says he’ll take credit for the auto industry?

He truly is an idiot, isn’t he?

He wasn’t a decision maker in that bailout.
Some were bailed and some weren’t.
He said he didn’t support auto industry bailouts.
He did support bank/financial bailouts.
Now he does support what happened???

The trees are just the right size in Michigan!!

(what a doofus)

“Yes, as if Tea Party support just rubs on and off like hand lotion.”

Great line!

Yes, that is exactly what they think. They think conservatives will just fall in line like we always do because Romney is our only choice. It is political calculus at its most cynical.

The GOP and Romney went out of their way to let conservatives know that they don’t want our vote this time. It’s too bad for them since this is where a lot of volunteers come from.

To the “broken glassers”, I respect your choice, but you vote for Romney fully aware that you are voting for a pro abortion, pro bigger government, pro homosexual ticket.

A Romney advisor bragged a couple of days ago that the auto bailout was Romney’s idea, or something like that. There was a thread on it.

You say he came out against the auto bailout??

If THAT’s true, I’m at a loss to understand what’s going on.

But anyway you look at this, it’s nuts.

Did you notice that Conservative HQ was talking about "approval rating" and that you are talking about presidential selection poll. Notice also, that Rasmussen doesn't include Gary Johnson and Virgil Goode by name. He asks if they support "3rd party"

Why not just have a poll for 1st party, 2nd party, and 3rd party? We can just forget names.
