Says within two years my bet is Ahmedinijad is gone. posted May 8, 2012 12:05pm EDT Zeke Miller BuzzFeed Staff
Vice President Joe Biden offered a sharp defense of President Barack Obama's friendship to Israel and leadership in preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons in remarks to a Jewish group in Atlanta today.
And Biden blamed the Bush Administration for the foreign policy challenges Obama inherited specifically the lack of international pressure on Iran.
"When we took office... we were the problem," he said. "We were diplomatically isolated in the world, in the region, in Europe.
Shouting at times, Biden said voices in the Jewish community who say Obama is not fully committed to the preservation of the State of Israel "frustrate" him, declaring: "I believe no president since Harry Truman has done more for Israels physical security than Barack Obama."
"I once said were I a Jew Id be a Zionist, and I want you all to realize you need not be a Jew to be a Zionist," Biden added in the address to the Rabbinical Assembly's annual conference. Adding, he is a Zionist.
Biden also defended Obama from charges he is soft on Iran, saying "We will prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon by any means we need," adding that the window for reaching a diplomatic solution "is closing in the near term.

He’s obviously nuttier than a fruitcake.
Biden: I’ll call this meeting of the `Blame America First’ club to order, but our good friend John Murtha will be chairing,
John? Where are you?
Stand up John.
the United States was “neither respected by our friends nor feared by our opponents,” adding, “Today it is starkly, starkly different.
Now we are untrusted by our friends and mocked by our
opponents, great job Joe.
We here would rather be respected than feared, but will choose respect over approval.
Obama & Co. (and Joey) have sought approbation over respect, and have received neither.
Brilliant Joe. Ahmedinijad is likely gone by the end of this year, replaced by someone even more radical if you can imagine that.
We are in deep sh!t folks.
We have spiraled downward as a society to the point that fully half of the population alternately doesn’t care, or thinks it is the progressive, enlightened thing for our elected oficials to take a Blame America First and Always stance.
Obama & Co. should remember the words of
Churchill about about appeasement.
“You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour and you will have war.”
Biden is a moron.
