As a rule of thumb, in situations of interracial dating, sympathies should go to the black man dating a white woman, because odds are she is deeply nuts. While there are exceptions, typically she will make his life a living hell.
This rule is not so hard and fast with black women dating a white man. That gets a lot more complicated.

Not knowing any more than what the excerpt says, and knowing the disposition of many 12 year old girls, I pass no judgment on the parents at this point.
My very mouthy older sister, who was twelve at the time, was sassing my mom. Somehow the contest of wills focussed on how Mom had changed older sister's diaper when she was an infant and how Mom would make her wear a diaper now if she didn't act more grown up.
Older sister mistakenly declared that there was no way Mom was going to make her wear a diaper.
It took about two hours but the deed was done. Even older sister joined in the laughter.
Even shaving a kid's head doesn't do any lasting damage. Certainly not compared to the damage done by disrespectful kids who fail to observe proper limits to their behavior.

Excellent point. I very much agree that the difference is repentance, not that someone is somehow a “better” sinner than someone else.
If someone does not know the Lord’s message, our job is to teach them. If someone knows the Lord’s message, but refuses to repent, or job is to pray that they will repent. If someone who knows the Lord asks for forgiveness, we are to forgive them seventy seven times (as many times as needed).
Of course, we have strayed far from the point. The people we are talking about aren’t even homosexual. Blaming homosexuals for the stupid things these people did smacks of false witness. If the point is that the world is evil, what else is new? Homosexuals aren’t solely to blame. Man’s evil nature is to blame. EVERYONE falls short of God’s glory.
