Defeats Lugur? More like scalped Lugar.
California is a fag state. In NC this landslide vote was about a state Constitutional amendment, and the NC courts aren’t about to go fag to overturn it.
If u Texans can get Cruz in the runoff, I think he will win.
Prop 8 was also an amendment to the CA constitution and a single gay federal district court judge overruled it.
“YES!!! And, Orrin Hatch, were on our way. Get Ready!!!”
Poor Orrin didn’t even think he was going to have to primary. WRONG!
I’ll be voting for Dan Liljenquist!
No, I was on another thread,
Forget about GOP control, this makes it more likely we'll have conservative control.
Hey steel fish.
With the deep pocket conservative super-pacs now, involved. They will be able to compete with the GOPe and Rove’s super pacs. The playing field has been leveled.
Hoosier, job well done. You will remember this boric vote the rest of your life. Thanks Hoosier.
I've taken to saying this on all of the threads where defeatists congregate (which is just about all of them these days).
I just watched a clip where Snakehead Carville was on tv warning Democrats that they didn't appreciate how tough this election was going to be for them. I agree. I see a conservative/tea party tsunami building and I genuinely believe that we are going to sweep the 'Rats away in November.
Bingo. He's also unbelievably stupid. If Mourdock doesn't whip Donnelly in the fall I'll have to leave Indiana.
I don't see American Crossroads, er, Rove douchebagging Mourdock (which is not to say he didn't do that in Delaware and Nevada).
FreedomWorks is all in on Mourdock and isn't going to take any sh!t from Rove on a Senate candidate who is reserved yet likable & trustworthy; and most importantly, who is already perceived as the likely winner in the fall.
Here's an idea: why don't you go find some other country to be a sobbing, gutless defeatist in.
Skinned 'im. One skins RINOs.
Thank God, now we just gotta hope he doesn’t pull a Murkowski on us.
Not allowed by law in IN.
Lugar is done.
What's that about?
It would be just like Lugar to pull a Murkowski and run as an independent, splitting the GOP vote and letting a Rat in.
WOO HOO!!! Good riddance Lugar...
Indiana has a sore loser law that doesn’t allow you to run in a party’s primary and then as an independent.
YES!!!!! Thank you.
“If u Texans can get Cruz in the runoff, I think he will win.”
Go Texas!! Indiana has shown the way. I think that Cruz will definitely get Dewhurst into a runoff—and, at the rate Cruz is rising in the polls, has an outside shot at actually winning in the May 28th primary without requiring a run-off.
Actually, a runoff might be best for Cruz as it would serve to increase his name recognition.
Tough running this Fall with a RINO At the top of the ticket though.
We need to fix this problem and keep folks who are IN other parties OUT of the primaries, whether as voters or candidates.
Even those who worked for Democrat campaigns, or contributed to Democrat candidates should be flat out banned.
There’s no Conservative tsunami even in the Republican party. Romney got more votes than Mourdock.
8 years ago Rove was a magnificent bastard, svengali, Perfect Rovian Storm etc.
Now he’s persona non grata.
I know he’s jumped the shark, but wow.
Maybe. Even probably. And cold water is good to drink; but it’s not a friendly idea to throw a bucket of it on someone enjoying a hot shower...just for fun?
Good stuff below from Mourdock...and Sen. John Kerry feels the blow!
Mourdock said. .......Hoosier Republicans want to see Republicans inside the US Senate take a more conservative track....... Tonight, friends, its time.
Six-term Sen. Dick Lugar, an affable and gentlemanly two-time chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and 1996 candidate for president, lost his GOP primary Tuesday night to a once little-known challenger “...aided by a coalition of national and local tea party groups”.....
Richard Mourdock led Lugar ...60.4 percent to 39.6 percent.... with more than three-quarters of precincts reporting.
Sen. John Kerry called the loss....... a tragedy for the Senate ....and a blow to the institution.
That bucket of water is needed else that campaign may falter. I think the Democrats intend to make a hard push for that particular seat.
8 years ago I thought he was just a bastard. He's responsible for the majority of Bush's missteps.
Lugar is a great pragmatist and will endorse Mourdock, just like conservatives are being asked to coalesce around Romney. The GOPe and conservatives are one big happy family.
Well Fiji...congradulations on your 7000th post...that was some old time music there....kicking my heels up with you!
Okay then. Good thing it wasn’t me that got the cold water. I’d come after ya.
Am so happy for you guys....victory sure can’t be sweeter this day!
Start where you are.
Use what you've got.
Do what you can.
So much for MSM telling the American public, the TeaParty is “losing” steam.
I’m one of those. not because I like Romney, but to deny a possible Ronpaul victory where he deserves none.
After Florida, there was an exit poll that said he was pulling about half the Tea Partiers then.
Oh this is great news too....gosh.. I needed to hear these victories...my chins been bouncing off my toes since Romney took his win?..er made his proclamation...? Whatever!
Lets hope other states ban it as well! Wa Hoo! Sweet!
Lots of Conservatives are voting for Romney in the primaries and will vote for him in November. This as been true all along. You might not like it but those are the facts.
Michelle lacked gravitas. Perry lacked presence. Cain lacked depth. Newt was untrusted and unliked. Santorum was ideologically a mixed bag and was a minority taste.
We conservatives didn't all settle on a single non-Romney candidate because they were all deeply flawed, and over the course of the primary season many Republicans, including many conservatives, settled for Romney.
It is time to stop sobbing, face facts, and start kicking 'Rat butt coast to coast and border to border.
Eagles up! BTTT. Another crooked card removed from a stacked deck.
Music to my ears! Cry dem blues, Johnny!
Here’s a toast Minute Gal! These victories are so sweet!
Onward Tea Party...Palin and Bachman! Next!
