What Im most curious about is whether its your belief that in this time of rising debts and medical issues and all the rest if Republicans would go out on the limb and try to make this a campaign issue while sitting very firmly, without much question, on the wrong side of history on it.

I guess Shep can’t walk and chew gum at the same time....
If the march of history is towards perversion and technocray then I hope that humanity stumbles into its grave.
Maybe Shep should just come out of the closet.
The reason I won’t watch him.
Enough is enough.
We need to get the government out of marriage. The government has no business being in the marriage business. Marriage is a holy sacrement.

Have you seen Shep lately. He has been losing weight and his skin is darkening. Appears to have what is known in Africa as the “Thinning-Disease.”
Keep it to yourself, Shep.
Gay marriage ,just another election distraction . Things must be great if all the government has to worry about is gay marriage
I don’t know, but Genesis 19 indicates it will be a bit hot on the other side of history. Republicans ought to stand on all of their values, not just the economic ones.
Sorry for the extra "IN"...got carried away there...

Is this Smith a gay? Does anyone know?
When was lil’ Shep hired as a COMMENTATOR for Fox? I thought she was supposed to READ NEWS COPY.
Go pound sand, Sheppie.
Shep, Shep—you’ve been wearing too much pink blush. It’s addling your brain.
It is surprising that they can breathe.
Without regard to biblical issues, I find homosexuality to be an act of perversion. I find the acutual sex acts performed by male homosexuals to be disgusting and repulsive.
To fashion marital law around it is just wrong IMO. The total and growing numbers of gays doesn’t affect or change my views.
Are you kidding?? He is more gay than Stefanopolis.
I’m not sure how ole Shep stays on Fox.
I see Shep on PMSNBC sometime in the future
Agreed. Bigger question is why are so many people watching Shep Smith and assisting his viewer numbers and employment continuing?
Says the flaming fudgepacker.
Har!
Not ME!
It is strange that Shephard Smith, after divorcing his wife in 1993, has no information about his relationship with women. There is in fact, speculation that he is gay, like Anderson Cooper.
As much as Shephard wishes gay marriage to be an issue, he his wrong. Sorry Shephard, it is not the issue that will be used to determine if Zer0 gets reelected. We must not be distracted from our focus in this election cycle: It is the economy, stupid. I predict that our foreign policy will be another issue. Gay marriage will continue to be state issues and need to be vigorously fought on that level.
OK,OK, Shemp, we get it. You’re gay. Enough already.
Madam Buttered Fly?
I agree, whole heartedly, but so many government programs, tax laws, etc. are predicated upon "marital" status ... and that's the rub.
My sis called me a couple weeks ago from Calif. and said turn on Shep, he looks sick and losing weight, maybe AIDS?
I think that Shepard Smith had food poisoning. Somebody told me that he ate a bad weenie.
The gay-oriented Houston Voice has “outed” CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith, charging that they “choose to hide and deceive — and to protect their incomes and images — at the expense of contributing important weight and star power to the gay civil rights movement.” Managing Editor Kevin Naff claims in an editorial appearing in the current edition of the Voice that Smith once tried to pick him up in a gay piano bar in New York City and that Cooper dodged a question about his sexual orientation in a recent New York magazine interview by saying, “”The whole thing about being a reporter is that you’re supposed to be an observer and to be able to adapt with any group you’re in ... and I don’t want to do anything that threatens that.” Commented Naff: “Does he believe that female and African-American reporters lack credibility to cover stories since their minority status is showing?”
“on the wrong side of history on it”
On the wrong side of whose history..Sodom and Gomorrah’s?
Funny you should mention that. I was thinking more along the lines of an incurable virus. I have his hour mostly muted, inasmuch as it is a video version of the tabloids, but the decline in his once healthy appearance has been noticeable. I wish no ill for him, but what the hey? sd
On numerous occasions
Good for you!!! We quit satellite a couple of years ago and have never, even one time, felt hat was a mistake. A diet of Karl Rove, NOW members, black agitator activists, James Carville, Heraldo Rivera, et al only brings up blood pressure and makes us want to pull an Elvis on our TV screen.
Shepie-the-prepie..... What do folks really do in Oxford after dark?
Shep Smith....light in the loafers
Shep has to decide which washroom to go in...........
Commentary: Conservatives need to wake up & see the threat.
“Social” and “fiscal” issues the same to those out to destabilize society.
POSTED: May 4, 2012
When the radical homosexual organizations and the “Occupy” movement team up to brutally stop a Tea Party rally, what else do you need to know? They are clearly natural allies in the effort to destabilize our society.
A vocal minority of Tea Party people in Massachusetts were skittish and upset when the Tea Party Coalition decided to include so-called “social issues” in their repertoire of topics for that event. “It will hurt our brand” or “it will alienate people” or “it’s not what the Tea Party is about” were some whines we all heard.
Well, guess what? They rioters see it all as one big movement. They understand that “social issues” and “fiscal issues” are two sides of the same coin that can radically change America. (And of course, that’s how every philosopher from Marx to Jefferson saw it, because it is so.) A nation’s fiscal policies are merely the product of its overall morality and ideology. To have a solid constitutional government along with a population that can’t control its passions or morality is simply a pipe dream.
(In fact, the rioters jeered Carla Howell, a fiscal-issues-only Libertarian speaker who took pains to inform them she is pro-gay marriage! just as loudly that day!)
But more importantly, this event should make it clear that as soon as the Tea Party or anyone gets in the radicals’ way, this is what will happen. These people have no rules except to destroy those who disagree with them. You think you can agree with them on “gay rights” but disagree with them on taxes? Think again. With these people it’s all or nothing. And so it should also be with those who are fighting for what’s right.
Stopping the “progressive” juggernaut is ultimately a much bigger and nastier fight than a lot of conservatives or Tea Partiers probably thought they’d be in. But that’s what we have before us.

From all appearances, if he does come out of the closet, it will be to stumble straight into a hospital bed in an HIV ward.
The BIG question nobody wants to answer is what’s so freaking “gay” about dying of HIV well before one’s time?

Right Shep. We know. You and your male friends really believe in marriage for all. You’re so....advanced, Shep. Marvelously advanced.
Shep is a such Cutie Pie!
...with those eyelashes and all.
What queer wouldn't want to marry that guy!
I see Shep has got the talking points from Nanzi P.
She used the same term.
