From left to right, Army Sgt. Brian Roebuck, Ron Roller, 1st Sgt. John Wear and Sgt. Tommy Evans "float" Bill's teeth at the Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard stables on Fort Hood, Texas, March 15, 2012. Roller is the unit's civilian trainer. A domesticated horse's diet does not allow for even wear of its teeth, creating sharp ridges on the sides. The process to smooth the ridges is called floating, and requires a special tool attached to a drill. U.S. Army photo by Amanda Kim Stairrett
GUNNER'S SCOPE
U.S. Army Pfc. Samuel Corsolini uses his weapon's scope to provide security as a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter takes off after unloading U.S. and Afghan troops during a vehicle interdiction to disrupt Taliban activities as part of Operation Pranoo Verbena in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, March 16, 2012. Corsolini is a gunner assigned to the Company F, 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade. U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Daniel Schroeder

SOUP FOR THE TROOPS
WELCOME TO

(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.
Come in, soup's ready...bwahahahaha
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities

DC Metroland Weather Report
~ Today...Partly cloudy in the morning, then clear.
High of 68F. Breezy. Winds from the NW at 15 to 20 mph.

~ Tonight...Clear. Low of 45F. Winds from the NW at 5 to 15 mph.

Making Z Zoup
A pinch of this...a dash of that...
In 435 B.C., the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras
suggested that the sun was not just a small glowing circle of light.
He maintained that it was a glowing rock
a hundred miles across.
For that outrageous statement, he was exiled from Athens.
The favorite horses of both Alexander the Great (Bucephalos)
and Julius Caesar both had atavistic mutations
extra toes.
Horses normally have only one toe per foot,
but are descended from horses with three or four toes on each limb.
The islands of Bermuda have no rivers or lakes.
The inhabitants must use rain for water.
A donkey is an "ass", but an ass is not always a donkey.
The word "ass" refers to several hoofed mammals of the genus Equus, including the Onager

I've got to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!

Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
PLEASE REMEMBER THEM ....

We may get some of that rain here in Oklahoma tonight and tomorrow. Crossing our fingers.
Spent much of the morning blocking some people from having their posts appear on Facebook when I go to KSWO 7News's Facebook. Some Obamanoids making some rather obnoxious posts and bullying around some people.
Like to be able to keep up to date with what's going on here in Southwest Oklahoma. Very difficult when you have to deal with obnoxious people like them turning a TV station's Facebook into The Jerry Springer Show.
Facebook does allow users to block people they don't like. Thankfully Twitter does too. I've also had to block some obnoxious Obamanoids on Twitter too.
We had some nice weather yesterday. Bo and I took adbantage of it and went out to Waurika Lake. We had a great time out there.
