I will guess first. (Location is optional but I put one down anyway). Please join, too.

[Hugo Chavez and] The EPA's 'Crucify' Politics On Energy Development ….” [Al] Armendariz said in the same speech his proudest moment in his first year at EPA was to have its enforcers watch "Gasland," an anti-fracking propaganda documentary financed by the government of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, who also opposes all U.S. drilling. Let’s get this over with soon. I’ll go for May 28, 2012. It’s Memorial Day. While mourning ours who were lost fighting people like this monster, we can have a measure of joy, as well.

I think that I saw somebody already pick my birthday, so I’ll go belated 06/25/12, location on his private jet while boogying from Cuba to a REAL hospital someplace.

...and Vanders9, while this may well and truly be “tasteless” (or whatever), I’d claim that I’ve already been called far worse for a he** of a lot less reason, so I’ll just call it fun.

Sorry about that.

We are at war with the socialists/statists.

Jesus said: "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance." - Luke 15:7

I believe too many FREEPERS fail to see the BIG picture...and God's perspective because of their own sense of due judgment (forgetting that save God's GRACE...they would also be due judgment).

What would have MORE impact? A DEAD Chavez burning in hell...or a live, fully repentant, Chavez who has come to genuine Faith in Christ for his salvation?

What would be better...Obama the way he is...cursed...suffering due to some malady as some are praying for...or an Obama that is genuinely saved...who is now AGAINST gay marriage and abortion because he has repented?

The first just satisfies my sense of justice. The second fulfills GOD'S desires where he says He would than none would perish but that ALL would repent (2 Peter 3:9). The first accomplishes NOTHING but darkens my soul to the grace of God. The second saves a soul (which is why Christ came) and is a powerful testimony to all.

So, no, I will pray that Chavez AND Obama will be saved...and use their positions to spread the Gospel. Is that likely? My humanity says "No"...but through God all things are possible. The benefits of the second outweigh those of the first regarding the Kingdom of God. Come November I will vote against O...and continue to pray that Romney will be saved. The early church knew: Better a saved Claudius...than replace Claudius with Nero.

Bless...and curse NOT. Romans 12:14

Vander - these socialists have a long history of lining innocents up against the wall and putting a bullet into their brain. He has terminal cancer. he has time to make amends and peace with the Lord. Other than that, I feel no shame nor remorse in celebrating the removal of evil from a position of power.

In the larger perspective, innocents will be saved with his removal. I’m not saying Hugo shot innocents. But hundreds of thousands of them suffer under what he has done.

2/15/2013. We don’t even know the type of cancer. It could be the one that just develops large random abdominal tumors, again and again. He could have another year or two. I hope he lives long enough to see the last day in office of his socialist buddy.

Yours is the correct reply.

We should pray that Mr. Chavez repents and accepts Christ prior to his death, but that doesn't require that we ignore that this world will be a better place without him.

“...Sorry. I won’t be cowed into giving Chavez the slightest respect, and I’ll be happy for the people of Venezuela when he expires...”

Pretty much spot-on. One less communist is never a bad thing. No loss to humanity.

He wants to come to Christ, Christ will have him, and that’s between him and the lord.

But here on Earth, he’s caused a lot of misery to a lot of innocent people.

No loss. I raise a glass when he kicks. Probably several, actually.

Chavez' supporters are just as debased and degraded as he is. I don't even try to convert empty headed liberals, let alone, full bore Communists. Those types are pure evil, and deserve nothing but the greatest contempt from people of good conscience.

“...A communist dies, the left is one down. Net gain one. A communist’s eyes are opened, the left is one down and the right is one up. Net gain two....:”

Hugo’s eyes aren’t opening. He’s a die hard Castro wannabe. He’s a big boy, a grown man, who’s had PLENTY of opportunity to change his life, and he’s “socialismo!” to the end.

Your opinion is duly noted, and I defend your right to have a different one than mine.

No communist/socialist/etc, though, would waste a moment’s time giving you the same defense. Hugo and his ideological ilk would remove you from this Earthly coil in a heartbeat for disagreeing with their view of Utopia if you were in their way.

We’ll agree to disagree, and move on from there.

“...I honestly cannot see the downside to his exit....”

The only downside I can see is that the system he put in place, with his cronies and apparatchniki, will still be in place, and some other little commie slob will come in behind him to take over.

Interchangeable, replaceable, and totally worthless, just like his predecessor.

Pray for the people of Venezuela to rise up and rid themselves...IF they want to, that is.

That’s the question...how badly do they want to? Or are they content and happy with it?

Chavez may have had his “come to Jesus” moment and repented for what he has done. He claims to have grown close to Jesus as he approaches death.

He’s fed the injustice and violence of envy and economic jealously and he is a communist thug theif. I hope he repented. The road to hell is paved in communism’s good intentions.
