I shall be on the lookout for these bass turds ....... Thanks for the Head’s Up !!.....:o)
Stay safe Jeff !
The difference is, their regime was corrupt and incompetent. Ours is deadly serious and enjoys the support of 90% of the sheeple.
I couldn’t agree with you more. Outstanding post.
And, we’ve already had over a decade of acclimating the sheep to be meek, when faced by mail-room clerks in TSA. And a couple of years of teaching them to put their hands up in a position of surrender, all while being irradiated.
We’re way too far gone. I would have had some hope if say, everyone in the prison camp, I mean, airport, lines, had sat down all at once, in protest. But no, no one even wanted to take a stand there.
The leeches and moochers are quickly overtaking the few of us still working in the private sector. That’s what isn’t “fair” — that those of us who studied, worked hard, worked our way up, etc. are and will be punished.
And all anyone is talking about is gay marriage. We’re getting exactly what we deserve.
Well, I just wish that they weren’t taking down the small percentage of us who knew all along where we were headed. It’s not what WE deserve! And, unlike my parents and grandparents who fled from Stalin, there is no place left to go this time. Not really....
“The “War on Terrorism” has naturally become a war on us, due to the typical and expected mission creep. “
The same with the war on drugs and poverty. It seems like
every time our government declares war on something it
winds up costing us our rights and freedoms. And both
parties seem to be in on it.
I don’t even drink and I hate those checkpoints. If I ever came across one and had time, I would turn around.
Those of us living within 100 miles of the border are subjected to interrogation at any time also. Yes, 100 miles. For all the good THAT does. The immigration laws have largely been unenforced forever, in order to dumb down the nation even more with more third-worlders.
Heaven forbid you take a drive/vacation along the southern Texas border. It is Stasi down there, en masse.
See ya’ in Gitmo’!
Yup, see you there :0) At least we’ll be warm.... I don’t want to be put in the Alaskan camp...
At least you are humble, so you have that going for you.
If they stop me with out probable cause>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Unfortunately, TSA apparently does not need probable cause. The border is wherever they say it is.
*************************************
Before you conclude that a “suspicionless search” is obviously and by definition illegalsince police need probable cause to search youthat’s not exactly right. The legal standard is that citizens are protected from searches when they have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Presumably TSA, with the backing of the President and Congress, has concluded that you don’t have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a train station (although even the TSA blog addmitted that the stunt in Savannah was out of bounds).
None of which decreases our discomfort with the idea that traveling by definition now opens you up to random searching. That’s what it means, after all, to declare that all airports, highways, ports, bus stations, train stations, and so on are fair game.

An army under 0bummer's command may soon consider you and your family (and me and mine) to BE the zombie horde.
TSA = The Stupid A***$.
My daughter student taught and substitute taught in Northern NY towns near the St. Lawrence River. She was stopped by border patrol frequently.
This is an old video, done in Tennessee for truckers, I remember it reported here previously. Haven’t seen any other reports of this happening again or anywhere else... appears joint task force one time occurrence or dry run?
Are there any updated videos or episodes of TSA invading cars?
We conservatives get too soft and complacent under non-communist regimes. Heck, we’ve had Obama for over three years already and I still haven’t toughened up nearly enough!
I’ve gotten stopped, twice,in the middle of the USA, for a “random ID check.”
Both times, while driving across TX. How odd.
And I am a ginger.
Nice excerpt. Voracious reader here. Roughly a novel a week. Just whipped out the credit card for this one and foresee diving in for the whole stash in the near future. God Bless
“You are a stone liar.”
You are a moron, without a basic grasp of english, more less english grammar.
So there. Piss off.
what’s wrong with a police state?....come on now...Holder is our protector....vote obammey...
"Jesus."
--Why use God's name in vain?
" One of most visible and pernicious activities of a total police state is the restriction to travel. "
--Yes, but this is America. Don't mistake safety and overbearing policy for "restrictions".
"We are 98% Soviet Union now."
--Bullsh*t. No we are not. Over-react much?
It dealt with 5 truckstop stations in Tennessee.
Jeez Louizze.
just make sure all my papers are up to date, dont drink and drive, and wear the seatbelt and...and...and...
we're gettin down to the final frontier, but i dont think theres any rolling it back, as the public has tolerated it for so long at this point...
the bullies tested the reaction, and got none, so they always ramp it up further...
its what bullies do if ya dont break their noses...
rule of *law* and probable cause have been meat-house dead for a loooooong time around the catch all checkpoints...
We drove through NM (from TX) on our way to AZ for Thanksgiving and went through an immigration/drug checkpoint at 1:00 AM. They had the dogs out circling most cars but after they shined their flashlights in on us and saw two kids zonked in back, they sent us on through and didn’t walk the dogs around us. It was rather maddening having flashlights shined in our eyes while they asked a few questions and we couldn’t see their faces. I certainly didn’t offer up the fact that I had guns & ammo on board.
Is that what they tell you out there in the Peoples' Republic of California?
Hope you like them all! Not that they are entirely light and fluffy reading.
We drove from San Antonio to Tucson, visiting national and state parks along the way.
In one day, TX and NM alone, we went through four checkpoints, interrogated at the first three (”where have you been,” “what have you been doing,” “was it hot there” [trick question about Big Bend], finally, “are you citizens”). Dogs sniffing at two of the Stasi-points. All in the primary line.
We were in my husband’s F-150 — which has a clear camper shell in the back and non-tinted windows.
We hardly had any luggage with us, just a bag or two, a cooler, nothing stacked high or hidden. We weren’t grungy or anything like that, no endangered bird feathers (God-forbid, I was with a friend once who didn’t know the feather hanging up might be “endangered”). No alcohol, forbidden fruit, etc.
It was truly appalling, to not be able to go sightseeing in the beautiful southwest without “papers, please” every few feet.
The world elites kept/keep the borders open on purpose for multiple reasons, one of which is to further intimidate, harass, and delay innocent Americans. (We missed making it to one historic park because of all the delays.)
In my area the Border Patrol sets up a road block, stops all vehicles and runs the drug dog around some/all depending on the stop. It has been to court many times, just as DUI checkpoints have. I think it has something to do with stopping everyone as opposed to random stops. BUT, BP within 50 miles of the border also does a lot of random stops with/without dogs and asks to search sometimes. Supposedly the government, especially BP has extraordinary powers within 50 miles of border.
Were you driving commercially, a truck or semi? What agency was it...TSA or the Border Patrol?
Border Patrol, on I-10, east of El Paso, both times.
First time, I was driving a new car I bought in NM - a 2005 Mustang GT Convertable, that I got for $15k less than I could have in Virginia. Brand new. Man, I loved that car. When I got it home, first thing my wife did, was run out and slap my daughter’s baby seat in it.
Peeing on her tree, she was.
Second time, I was tired of flying - so I took the old MPV (Junker) to NM. Hey, it got better milage than the mustang!
Sure as heck, random border patrol stop on I-10, in the middle of texas.
“Ihre papieren, Bitte!”
Good thing I already speak German.
Will it take that long?
No, it is not sarcasm and test it at your own risk.
Silly poster! Warrantless searches and seizures are conducted in order to preserve liberty! Now don’t you dare mention people like radio host you-know-who or Republican candidate you-know-who again or we’ll have to silence you. Anyway, everybody knows they’re antisemitic, Nachum. Kol Beseder, Ein Baya.
There were border patrol check points in New England up until about 2008, I had been stopped many times, likely about 14 or 15 in all. This was about 230 miles south of the Canada/US border on I 91 South, always at the same rest stop , where they waived us off the highway into it, and checked everyone in 4 lanes of traffic , then back out onto the Highway. At other times the checks were organized right on the Interstate itself.Always Border Patrol.
They asked for ID ( Drivers Licence) and passports if they were not US citizens.. They were stopping everyone at those checkpoints, everybody had to go through them.
Its as if they wanted to double check people they had already let into the country.
I did not resent these border patrol checks under Bush. However, these TSA freaks are civilians who do not have to take an oath to uphold the constitution. I would not like stopping for these TSA freaks. They are Obama’s “brown shirts” IMHO. Watch them in the future to see their evolution in use of firearms training , crowd control, and mass transport of FEMA prisoners, especially via rail. I do not put it beyond Obama at all to seek out a “final solution” to his definition of “racial and ethnic conflict.”
Good Read ( I keep publishing it):

I almost sent you a F.I.S.T. ping, but I see you’re on this already...hehe
Maybe not (if in my garage), but there have been some scary incidents which imply that even doing so on your own property is no longer a cut and dried safe to do in some jurisdictions.
Same thing happened to us when we went just three weekends ago to the Hoover dam...
I had my friggin’ pocket knife (in my pocket, it is just one of those things you keep in your pocket and don’t think anything about till something like this occurs)...
I was told in the busy line that I’d either have to walk back ALLLL the way to the tour bus and leave it their or they would confiscate my private ptoperty...
They do these checks at Old Ironsides as well...
We still had a great time visiting the dam, and didn’t have any other incidents on the trip...But it still left a taste in my mouth I would have rather not been subjected too...
Because we all know, you can do A LOT of damage if you have a pocket knife and the will to use it!!! At the Hoover dam.../sarc
I had a small multi-purpose tool, wrench and socket set in the camera bag we had go thru the machine when we eventually went thru the security checkpoint...Not a word was said about that device...
I feel that its going to take a lot of common sense to force a bunch of these people out of work...And that is a cryin’ shame...We should start at the top and work our way down the chain, checking IQ’s along the way and see how that all charts out...
Just my opinion...
