I've reading about these "genius" level Dem presidents since JFK was in office. Virtually every Dem candidate, including Carter, was the smartest person who ever lived, and by extension, every Republican candidate was a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal who was too stupid to walk and chew gum at the same time. This meme will never change. Because liberal journalists are convinced of their own supreme intelligence, and there's no way they could love someone who's not a genius like them. Believe me, if Kerry had gotten elected, and it was Edwards turn to run for prez, he'd be John Edwards Einstein, the new smartest candidate ever.
What's really terrifying is the knowledge that many libs would gladly elect a dictator. But most libs have a totalitarian, big-government-is-best streak in them anyway.
