The conventional wisdom among the mainstream media is that the Republican establishment would strike back during the 2012 election, thereby blunting the influence of the conservative Tea Party movement that propelled the party to historic gains in the 2010 midterm elections. Implied in this chatter is that the power and influence of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, seen by many as the figure who can best mobilize the Tea Party movement into action, would fade as well. But recent events in Indiana, Nebraska, and Texas have shown that this conventional wisdom is false.

“But recent events in Indiana, Nebraska, and Texas have shown that this conventional wisdom is false”
The conventional wisdom is wishful thinking by the RINOs.
Pfft. The GOP-e is really “striking back” against themselves. How did they think they were capable of the 2010 “shellacking”, eh? It sure wasn’t due to their own efforts. Then they burned those bridges a bit too rapidly.
The detractors of the Tea Party haven’t quite reconciled themselves to the fact this is not simply a protest movement. It’s gone past the need for big rallies. People are growing this movement through local organizations and GOTV efforts.
Get over it, RINOs and libs... the Tea Party is here to stay.
The “TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY” Party is now in charge. The MSM can shove it.
Love your name palin45potus, but the next president (as long as it’s not O), will be 44, because the One we have now is not legit. NO WAY! NO HOW! He is a usurper!
If this is a real bumper sticker where can I get one.
In my estimation, this is no accident. They know darn well that the majority of Americans were/are impresses with and drawn to T.E.A party principles and turned off by the occupy crowd. By trying to put the T.E.A party on the same level as occupy, they hope to negate and minimalize its effectiveness.
The libs always use every weapon at their disposal, and occupy is serving a purpose that few on the left, and perhaps the right, even comprehend.
Until we actually vote here in Texas, this comment seems to put the cart before the horse.
2004: the base strategy
In 2000, Bush ran as a “compassionate conservative,” reaching out to moderates and seeking a large number of votes from the middle of the political spectrum. But in 2004, Rove and others on the campaign turned to a fairly radical strategy of focusing on increasing turnout from the party's Conservative base. (snip)
So what did he do in 2004?
I don't think we can overstate this mobilization of the individual churches. Never happened before. Vast sort of untapped source of political energy in this country.
The evangelicals didn't just come on board for him: They were campaigning; they were at the events; they were the poll volunteers; they were making the phone banks, the phone calls. You know, that's how you win elections. It was good old grassroots, door-knocking politics, but they tapped this group and organized it in a way that just had never been done to that extent before.
Religious conservatives, if they wanted to get into politics, [used to get] involved with Ralph Reed and his Christian Coalition. No more. You're doing it right through your church. The Christian Coalition had no important effect on this election at all. It was all about your local Christian church. That turned out to be the rallying point.

The Montgomery County (Dayton, Ohio) GOP's new party chairman is a tea partier. Dayton Tea Party founder Rob Scott takes over Republican Party
Oooh, nice graphics.
Oooh, nice graphics.
Nebraska isn’t done yet either, but it is clear that Palin’s endorsements have changed the dynamics of both races.

We are out on a RINO Hunt, those who want to join us and Sarah are welcome, those who don't can either get the hell out of the way or they will go down in flames with the rest of the RINO scum!

I love that woman!
RIGHT ON!
ONLY A WOMEN PRESIDENT CAN SAVE AMERICA,,,,,
We need more like Sarah, bright, attractive, personable and STICK TO THEIR PRINCIPLES

At the rate this election cycle is shaping up i’m willing to bet the establishment candidates will soon be asking the establishment not to endorse them.:):):)
LOLOLOL.
Only removing the Fed’s printing press can save America.
The big banks have to be allowed to fail so that they can be replaced with small, honest banks with tangible assets.
.
How unexpected!
Thanks for getting my two favorite Palin pictures up in the same thread.
No question that this is what the people want. But the politicians and the press are scared to death of her, and have spent huge amounts of time demonizing her.
I’m still hoping that we can pull something out of this mess, because Romney is about 95% as bad as Obama. They are the two worst candidates ever to run for President. We really, really need another choice.

Starring Karl Rove as Darth Vader!
Chris Christie as Jabba the Hutt!
Ann Coulter as Boba Fett!
Reince Priebus as Emperor Palpatine!
Rick Santorum as Yoda!
Herman Cain as Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi!
Sarah Palin as Princess Leia Organa!
Rick Perry as Han Solo!
and Andrew Breitbart as Luke Skywalker!
Imagine, if you will, a ticket with Sarah at the top and Trey Gowdy as VP. Those two would leave no stone unturned in cleaning up Washington.
Put that bumper sticker design on Zazzle.com and make some $$$ via commissions.
Sounds good to me. Constitutional conservative adults with a no nonsense get-things-done mentality.
ONLY A WOMAN PRESIDENT CAN SAVE AMERICA,,,,,
Now Now don't hold back tell us how you REALLY feel! Lol
Sarah Palin: The Most Important Irrelevant Figure in America Today!
Sigh....Sarah is the only one worth voting for in this morass of Republican stew.
I still maintain that Palin could run as Independent and still beat both Obamma and Romney. But still hoping for a brokered convention.
I remain praying for a miracle in Tampa.
Well, I wrote her in for the primary but I hope and pray that somehow, some way, a brokered convention will put her on the ballot in Novenber. If not, I’ll just have to write her in again. I will not vote for either Obamney or Romama! I’m too old and crippled to shoulder a rifle and fight against the tyranny that’s taking over our country but I can cast my vote for the person I feel is best qualified to run the government. Leaving the space blank would be a cop-out.
I’m planning to do the same. Just make sure that your state permits write-in votes for president in November so that your ballot counts. Otherwise, it will not be counted and your votes for lesser offices will also be tossed out.
God bless and keep you.
