SANFORD – As the world eagerly awaits the release of never-before-seen evidence in the case against George Zimmerman, employees for Special Prosecutor Angela Corey late this afternoon provided a preview in the form of an eight-page document.
The paperwork, filed with the Seminole County clerk as closing time approached, listed several witnesses the state plans to call and identified several pieces of the evidence prosecutors expect to use in their scond-degree murder case against Zimmerman.
Most names were redacted from the document, but six civilian witnesses were listed: Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin — parents of the alleged victim, Trayvon Martin — as well as Trayvon's brother, Jahvarius Fulton; Zimmerman's neighbor, Frank Taaffe; his friend, Joe Oliver; and his father, Robert Zimmerman.
The document listed 18 Sanford police officers as primary witnesses, including lead Investigator Chris Serino. Corey's office also turned over five reports prepared by him, as well as written reports prepared by four other Sanford officers.
According to the documents, prosecutors also have new video evidence from the night of the shooting — both from the 7-Eleven store where Trayvon purchased Skittles and Arizona iced tea, and from the clubhouse of Retreat at Twin Lakes, the apartment complex where the teen was killed.
Other video evidence, which shows Zimmerman being taken into Sanford Police Department headquarters after the shooting, has already been made public. Crime scene photos of both Zimmerman and the teen are also listed in the documents filed Monday.
Also included in the evidence, according to the new filing, are phone records — Zimmerman's from March 7 to March 22, Trayvon's from January 1 through March 1, and those of an unnamed witness labeled "W8" from February 26 through April 2. Zimmerman's medical records are listed, as are records of his 2005 arrest and domestic-violence injunctions.

I wonder if the “evidence” includes a few recent pictures of the punk sporting his gold grills, his football prowess taking down the opposition, his 6 foot+??? height; his booty from all his break-ins, and the reasons he was expelled/suspended from school?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Going out on a limb here: They couldn't come up with anything that would qualify as evidence in a court of law. If there were, they would have leaked it to the "narrative" media by now. (I don't call it the news media anymore.)
To avoid confusion, this will be a separate contest from the one already won by Angela Whorey for the indictment phase.
Interesting cast of characters there. I was not aware that Martin’s parents or his brother were witnesses to this event or do they possess ESP. There is this nagging thing called relevance about a witness. The scientific people, well, they have a legitimate role to play. I guess the 7/11 video is to begin a time line perhaps bolstered by the video from the club house. Still the facts remain, there are few if any eye ball witnesses and I don’t see any listed in the prosecution’s listing.
It appears that none of these “witnesses” actually witnessed the physical altercation between the two that led to the shooting. It sounds like the prosecution doesn’t have a strong case.
It was dark and raining. Nobody looked out their windows until the screaming started. So of course nobody saw the start of the altercation, only its finish.

I think there was one witness who was at the scene of the fight (but not at the beginning) who ran indoors to call 9-1-1.
Did any of the witness’s even witness the incident? The parents? Arrrgh.
Their case seems to boil down to:
1) trying to pick out statements here and there from Zimmerman’s discussions with the police and frame the statements as inconsistent and therefore that Zimmerman is a liar and
2) the prosecution will need the girlfriend to say she “heard” Zimmerman attack Martin and then the jury will be asked to choose between the word of the black teenage girl on the cellphone and the word of the white-hispanic lying cracker Zimmerman.

Then again, it might be interesting to get them on the stand and ask them about their son's jewelry collection and the specifics of their involvement with Mr. Crump. Then there's dad's "It's not my kid's voice" pre-Crump statement .
They will be there to vouch for Trayvon's good character and the fact that "he did not deserve to die."
67 compact discs in the package, may take a while to go through it. Standard state tactic, try to bury the defense in paperwork.
I imagine so - the riots will be must-see viewing.
When it stated to 'sink in' that Zimmerman's NOT 'middle class, white, and conservative' the breathless quality of the MSM's high drama collapsed.
They know who they hate - and it's not brown democrat hispanics....
The Orlando Sentinel - which could have been at the center of this liberal high drama, is now covering a minor crime story, if that... If liberals can lynch a 'conservative white' man or prove that Zimmerman is a Republican, rather than a registered democrat, the circus - breathless and all - will resume..
I doubt the prosecution ever had a strong case.
These 3 of the 6 civilians are WITNESSES? They're Trayvon's family members for cryin out loud! There is not a witness among any of these 3. What, were they listening in on a cell phone as Trayvon (what a stupid name... kind of Jahvarius) was bashing Zimmerman's head into the concrete sidewalk?
