The Department of Interior plans to destroy four dams on the Klamath River in Northern California so salmon can swim further than 180 miles up the river. But these dams provide water and flood protection to thousands of humans who also live along the river. Clean energy from these hydro dams supply electricity to 70,000 residents in the area. Despite a lack of scientific evidence that dam removal will help the fish, or any study on the human impact of dam removal, the DOI is pressing forward to have the dams destroyed. When their own scientist, Dr. Paul Houser, questions the science - he gets fired.

People who think this is only about one river, or someone else's problem in a place far away could not be further from the truth.
Please, people. Take the time to stop, look and listen to what liberals are doing to our country and our freedom!
All a part of the plan to take us back to 1887..................
AGENDA 21
This is a story that is playing out all over the nation. At 4:12 in the video, rancher Rex Cozzalio explains that the basis of the study was a master's thesis done for an anti dam environmentalist instructor. We have dealt with this same strategy in the Pacific Northwest.
Later in the video, County Supervisor Grace Bennett states unequivocally that this is the the playing out of U.N. Agenda 21.
Please make friends and associates aware of what is going on here and ask them to take an interest in what we are facing at the hands of international activists using the environment to seek social justice.
Where's the logic here?
The dams are only a tool. The purpose here is to take control of land, water and people and move everyone into urban enclaves where the government can regulate all aspects of living, education and travel.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper and more effective to build salmon ladders for the fish? I remember reading about these things back when I was in grade school.
It's not about being pro-wildlife, It's about being anti-human.
Much worse than that, I’m afraid.

Check out the links. I am frankly amazed by them. The core disagreement appears to be whether the salmon should have ladders or be trucked around the dams (no, really, I’m not crazy enough to make that up).
And it really is about returning the Klamath to pre-civilization condition regardless of the effects. Humans will just have to move or die.
Just added reason #1,354 to my list of why I moved out of there.
Our Great Lakes Czar (Cameron Davis) is the head of the alliance for the great lakes. Dam removal is their primary goal along with “buffer zones” around all surface water.
In designated U.N Bisoshere reserves the NGOs are pushing for complete control plus buffer zones of up to ten miles where they can direct, limit, or prohibit use or access. ,p>This is much bigger than most people want to admit or care to recognize.

Here is a paper on Integrated Water Resources Management which is taken right out of Agenda 21:
http://users.sisqtel.net/armstrng/IRWM%20global%20Part2.htm
It was used as the basis for the European Framework.
The Army Corps is involved in implementing it:

http://www.iciwarm.org/en/about/ICIWaRM.cfm
and the State of CA is rapidly implementing it as we speak:

They will spend Billions to study a friggin snail drter, but not one penny to study what might happen to humans.
Why??
Because they don’t give a F.
People moving away and giving up the fight is helping the international activists gain strength.
In Michigan, you’re never more than a mile from a body of water of some type. A 10 mile buffer zone should effectively evacuate pretty much everybody.
Or is it just offensive to the green-nazis that the fish have to swim up a man-made cataract instead of a “natural” one?
Dams withing spawning proximity to the coast have been constructed with fish ladders for a long time. Not the ones over 175 miles inland.
I fought for almost 20 years. And lost most of the battles. We won a few that judges then rectally invaded. Forget it. Can’t shame me with ‘shoulda stuck it out’. You should move out too. If the ‘internationalists’ win there, it’ll be just part of them owning the world, so in the end, the difference will be that I am now enjoying my life, so that’s a net plus.
Check out www.ispyradio.com and you will see programs on this topic, including an interview with Dr. Houser....also...remember...shortly after Houser’s resignation, the Interior Secretary DELAYED the decision on the dams.....there still is hope!!! The fight is continuing...
the beat goes on...Klamath pings please
How can you expect the people to wake up when congresscritters are all fast asleep?
Weren’t these elected to stand guard over our Constitution?
Liberals would already have a lawsuit at the courthouse - what is wrong with framers and conservatives?
I'm with ya but you & I could not round up 50 people who are willing to put forth some energy & fight back at any one item.
The Greens are useful Idiots, if you think saving fish is their goal, you are underestimating the enemy.
Coming soon......LOST.
New World Order brought to you by the compassionate conservative dynasty of daBushes
Uh, maybe the conservatives are not really conservatives?
They have no idea how many millions of Cu/Yds of silt are behind these dams nor what it wil do to Kurok, Yurok and Hoopa or the ocean fisheries.
mark
No, what they're seeking is world control. Hitler's come back with a "green" face. They're totalitarians, and deserve to be treated as such.
Greetings CC:
My memory of the target Great Lakes watershed map extends west to Lake Champlain region on the Ontario westerly border.
BTW, the Chicago region not being within the watershed map is courtesy of two diversion canals with a series of seven dams with navagation locks. Battle lines are being drawn concerning the closure of Illinois Waterway System navagation locks. Proposed means to prevent an invasive species, Asian Carp, from entering the Great Lakes.
Ah, the unintended consequences of doing too good of a job during clean up of Chicago’s toilet flushes.
Cheers,
OLA
I think digger answered this to an extent in #31. Conservatives are not as quick to act until they feel directly threatened while liberals are obsessed with controlling everything and everyone. They never rest and it seems that they have an much larger resource well when it comes to finding money for their causes.
Unfortunate but true. Conservatives tie themselves to one issue at a time while liberals continue picking away at the whole foundation.
Conservatives are wrapped up with Keystone, ANWR, and offshore drilling but I don’t see anyone other than myself talking about the great lakes directional drilling ban. Michigan sits atop one of the largest natural gas deposits in the nation but few people seem to notice it. Meanwhile we fight many separate battles in every township in the state for each well drilled. A single township doesn’t stand much chance against global green groups like “The Waterkeepers” who are heavily funded by the Kennedy family and others.
We are dealing with that where I live. We have a small sural population trying to hold on to our freedom against well funded NGOs and a department of ecology run by environmental activists. It is hard to fight them and even harder to bring people in to understand the issues and join the effort.
Those dams where bought and payed for by the people in the valley. Then the government refused to sign them over and have been trying to run everyone out since then.
Land Trusts are the worst of the worst. They border illegality on most of their deals and are often taking advantage of elderly folks who have been on their lad for decades.
The land trust controlled a little quarter acre woodlot down the street from me till the owner said screw it and allowed the state to take it for back taxes. Then when the land trust was asked if they would take ownership and pay the taxes they dropped it like a hot rock.
They wanted to control it, not be responsible for it.
they get money from the federal government - because of the law suits. What’s wrong with conservatives - this fact has been know for years, nobody stops it and conservatives don’t try to get the money so the tables are turned on washington and the envirowackos.
If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

It is with very deep regret that I am informing everyone that Henry Lamb passed away today.
There aren't proper words to describe Henry and what his passing will mean to us all. It was because of Henry that we learned about the encroachments on our property rights, the Biodiversity Treaty and Agenda 21.
Irene Lamb will let me know what arrangements are made at a later time. Henry wanted to be cremated and his wishes will be carried out. We may have a memorial at a later date.
I personally want to say that I have lost a great friend and comrade.
You may view the works of Henry at www.freedom.org and www.freedom21.org..
Please pass this on so that everyone in the Liberty Community will learn of this terrible loss and I am sorry if I missed sending it to anyone.
Norman Davis
“Sorry to hear this news” doesn’t express our feelings adequately.
Henry Lamb was a tireless patriot who raised the alarm despite tremendous opposition.
May we do no less.
