A time for choosing: Life and Liberty or rot in hell under leftist rule!

Posted the following on a now zotted antifreeper thread a little while ago as I banned the atheist bastard who claimed we were NAZIs for defending Christianity, our God and our national heritage:

To all, especially all of you who are also currently antifreeping (or “antijimming” as Bob J so lovingly rephrased it) over on the truebluerinos antifreeper site ( http://www.trueblueliberty.com/index.php? PHPSESSID=qekg07nuig95n3g0i23jmr6v03&board=11.0 ).

This crap ends today!!

Will be cleaning house of trolls!!

Free Republic is a pro-God (that’s the Judeo-Christian God for those in Rio Linda), pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Gun, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-Liberty, pro-Small (Limited) Government, pro-Declaration, pro-Private Property, pro-Strong Defense, pro-Borders, etc, ie, a grassroots pro-Traditional American Conservatism site.

We are strongly opposed to Marxism, communism, socialism, anarchism, fascism, abortionism, homosexualism, militant feminism, class warfare, nanny statism, crony capitalism, police statism, statism of any kind, whacko environmentalism, pacifism, government enforced atheism, or any other ism related to collectivism, leftism, liberalism, totalitarianism, etc, or used as weapons of destruction against our constitution, capitalism, our moral society, our religion, our traditional American way of life, our freedom, etc, and that includes RINOism. We are strongly opposed to all of the above whether foisted on us by Democrats or Republicans or anyone seeking or holding any public office whatsoever.

Unlike any other nation on earth, ours was founded on the belief that our rights to exist and to live free are granted by GOD, not government. We the people created our government and gave it life and its LIMITED powers! We control it! It does not control US!!

DON’T TREAD ON ME!!

Anyone who doesn’t like it and doesn’t want to fight for it can get the hell off of Free Republic!!

We are at the breaking point.

It’s time for choosing.

The barbarians are inside the gate!!

I chose Life and Liberty long ago and I'm bitterly clinging to my God, my Liberty and my guns!!

God bless America!!

Love it or leave it!!

We are the resistance!!

if anyone wants a change of pace or a breather from FR would be www.gopbriefingroom.com. It's a drama free zone and just as informative.

Mighty kind of you pardner to make an invite. Only thing, this computer won't go to any site with "GOP" in the address bar. Derndest thing! Oh well.

Ya see, me and the grand ole party hire-arky are kinduv havin' a little dustup lately. They don't like me much and I don't like them at all rite now.

But, thanks once more for the invite. And drive carefully.

I was wondering how long you would put up with these instigators of destruction. I’m in for the long haul.

TheOldLady does a great job on FR and those dissing her made no sense.

Anyone not happy doesn’t have to come here - it’s just that simple.

Thank you, Jim.

I have been concerned for some time about the outright anti-Christian bigotry being voiced by some on Free Republic. It's your site and your rules, so except for the worst of the stuff I've mostly kept quiet. I was aware of the existence of anti-Freeper sites, but since I have limited time, I don't monitor those sites and did not realize this was getting organized by people with a stated agenda.

It is really good to see you say this (and similar things on other threads) putting teeth in the officially stated purpose of Free Republic. Mission statements are good things, but unless enforced, they don't keep organizations from drifting into other paths.

Lots of conservative organizations which were once faith-friendly have, over the years, been co-opted by libertarians or other people who, to their credit, do share some parts of the conservative agenda. Unfortunately, they combine some good conservative ideas with anti-religious views. We have a major problem among young conservatives today who have bought into the appeal of immorality and wickedness and justify it with conservative rhetoric of "get the government out of my bedroom and my personal life."

You deserve compliments for not letting that agenda run things here.

I'm guessing you already know about this thread on the antifreeper site:

It's amazing to see that people have left a site like Free Republic with tens of thousands of regular readers for a site with stat reports like these:

Jim, based on lousy stats like those, it would seem like people who don't agree with you on a few things would learn to shut their mouths, live with the fact that nobody agrees with everybody on everything, and just accept that Free Republic gets read when most other conservative sites can't even come close to competing.

Methinks some people who are blaming you for supposedly demanding 100 percent agreement are actually guilty of the same thing themselves — if they're not in the driver's seat, they'd rather ditch the fast Ferrari and exchange it for a bicycle.

Libertarians are among the "wolves in sheep's clothing" that our Lord warned us about.

Libertarians don't like taxes, but that doesn't make them conservatives. They say that they want limited government, but they are typically anarchists who want no government.

When it comes to things like abortion and homosexuality, they start talking about how government can't dictate morals, but they fail to realize that ALL LAWS are about morality. Governments exist to protect the rights of man, libertarians tend to resent this.

actually it is pretty clever. you ban a thread where humblegunner says all kinds of bizarre things 95% of your viewership would find repulsive.

Then you post a support thread for him, while purging the thread where he said all the weird stuff you support or at least support his ability to say on your forums.

Now you purge the support thread (too many reposts of post #9?) and post a war on something totally else from the original topic.

The telling factor is that you are PURGING and DELETING threads and posts. You cannot stand actual examination by those you exhort to fund you and support you.

Been here since 1999 and I have never had an opinion about site management, but I sure as hell have one now.

first humblegunner says a conservative radio host who was murdered asked for it, in reasonably explicit language. some folks don’t agree with this. then he acuses them of flagrant homosexuality and abuse of small animals, and suggests anal balms for pain.

then the thread gets deleted by the site owner.

a new thread goes up, the troll is defended, but stuff slips through (did you know you can tease posts out of googlecache even when the page is not represented as cached) and it reflected poorly on the site owner who is explicitly endorsing this disturbed person as an official and sanctioned troll.

so now that thread is gone as well, and we have a new theme. Is the theme humblegunner’s comments about a slain woman or about her detractors? Is your misdirection attempt going to work, temporarily?

Tell us about post number 9, 12, and 20, jim robinson, or ban my account. I am tired of the bs. Did you really think deleting the thread would make the issue go away?

“We are strongly opposed to Marxism, communism, socialism, anarchism, fascism, abortionism, homosexualism, “

I missed this one. Is this intentional tie-in with HG’s posts about flagrant homosexualism and abusers of small animals? Could you please clarify FR positions on this views, as he is an explicitly sanctioned FR person?

‘I am tired of the bs. Did you really think deleting the thread would make the issue go away?’

mr jim robinson,

I would also ask if you understand, at some level, that when you start pissing off long-time posters who have never even been aware of special views of yours or your site, but have managed to grasp your support for humble-gunner fking up your website with bizarre attacks on 3rd parties involving bestiality and ‘flagrant homosexuality’ where none was otherwise indicated (state if you believe Las Vegas Ron meets those attributes, and I think I had a post of his deleted many years ago!), ??

folks who don’t know what it is jim robinson is defending, google it (humblegunner april kauffman troll etc). You have no idea what the site owner is covertly endorsing, and preventing you from making informed decisions by purging posts you would find helpful in making informed decisions.

It wasn’t just that he said April Kauffman deserved to be murdered. He said that her public support of our troops was the reason she deserved to be whacked. Most of the people commenting here don’t know that’s what they’re supporting. They think it’s about disgruntled FReepers visiting antifreeper sites. The FReepers who were genuinely outraged over this incident were mostly long term freepers in good standing, some of them from 1998. None of us enjoyed the damage being done to Free Republic, but some of us have values we treasure more than any website. April Kauffman was right to support our troops in a very public way. She was right not to be quiet about her support of our troops. I don’t know why she was murdered, but to say she deserved it because she openly supported our troops is indefensible.
