Posted the following on a now zotted antifreeper thread a little while ago as I banned the atheist bastard who claimed we were NAZIs for defending Christianity, our God and our national heritage:

Seriously. Whatever way works to build the best future regime possible, is what should be done. The president is only one piece of the puzzle. Some politicians may be likened to lousy corks for the holes in the boat, but when the alternative is no cork or even a pump that pumps the wrong way....

The USA for better or worse does not have a coalition political system like European countries and the thirty or so parties that vie every election. For all intents and purposes here the presidency is a two party battle with third parties being unable to be anything better than spoilers unless they can garner more votes than the most unfavorable major party challenger.

What happened was that a small group of anti-FReepers, including "current" (at that time) FReepers were attempting to co-opt this website. This includes the Mormon Warriors who think any criticism of THEIR faith be banned (you should see the 'religion' threads on their site, you wouldn't believe it), the libertarians who favor the gay agenda and abortion and other crap and absolutely HATE with a passion anyone who believes in moral absolutes. There were also disaffected FReepers and some who left on their own plus there were leftist/liberals there, one of whom is a moderator.

It's not a conservative website by any stretch of the imagination. They want to make FR into 'not a conservative' site too.

I am not saying that some of them didn't have legitimate gripes originally, but becoming part of such a site with that kind of agenda makes them doubleplus ungood.

lol. One of their complaints was that some FReepers use bad language, but that site has much worse language. They complain about name calling on FR while they do more of it than happens on this site, even though this one has many times more members.

Every FReeper and sometimes it seems every American is on edge these days. The members of that site thought this site was weak enough to be pushed over like a domino.

I have only been on FR for five years so I am still new but I have stayed here because of the ideals you have espoused here on this thread.

I will stand side by side with all the other FREE people who are willing to fight for their GOD GIVEN rights.

I spent twenty years in uniform fighting the Cold War against Godless Communism and am still willing to fight and die for the freedom of my family and for the families of others. Only about 8% of the population fought and won the Revolutionary War and we here at FR can be a force that can win back our freedoms and liberties.
