Not if Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, Jesse Jackson & Co have anything to do with it - he'll cave (see Trayvon Martin)

“Rick Scott ‘hopes’. . .or plans to prosecute illegal voters?”

That is the real question. I have a feeling words are all that will be used with the hope this issue fades from the headlines.

The S.C. governor has a similar problem. She has not addressed the problem. Pressure should be put on her by the people of S.C. to address a similar issue.

I don't know about Florida, but in some states illegal voting = voter fraud = a felony conviction.

This is what needs to happen. Just pick a few of the worst cases (for starters) for a high profile conviction.

After the perps serve hard time and/or pay substantial fines, the rest will get the message.

I heard there may be 180,000 potential cases. There are not enough resources to indict all of them. But there are enough to indict 180 of them and bring the hammer down on the first two or three dozen of that group.

You can then offer a limited immunity to any who voluntarily come forward to cancel their voter registrations.

The S.C. governor has a similar problem. She has not addressed the problem.

This should be a no-brainer, since most of the illegal voting is probably for Democrats.

I like the immunity/amnesty idea. Let people remove themselves. It can cut down on costs of prosecuting and other issues that can pop up. Then go after the “unrepentant”.

“Rick Scott hopes to prosecute illegal voters”

BUMP.

I’ve heard good things about this guy. This is another plus.

However, I would think that wanting to enforce the immigration laws will put him at odds with Dream Amnesty Rubio.

Well; 'hope' we are both wrong; and anyone else who shares same; but am otherwise inclined, to believe you are precisely right.

Another side benefit of the immunity/amnesty idea is that it would out the DNC, ACLU and all their allies who would immediately scream "racism" over any reasonable attempt to control voter fraud.

The sheeple need to be constantly reminded about who it is that promotes dilution of the voting rights of American citizens with the fraudulent votes of non-citizens.

It is a felony, I think, carrying possible 5 years or 5 thousand $ fine. You have to already have cast the vote to be convicted, I think. I am really curious to know if ANY of the Florida perps will be prosecuted.I am not going to hold my breath!

Oh my! Don't give an indigent 5 more free years of food and lodging! The charge ought to be "attempt to defraud" when a person tries to register or actually does get ones name on the voter rolls when unqualified. With a fine of, say, $1,000 would have made $180 million collectible income when those persons show up to vote again. (?)

There should be large signs that say *Voter fraud means felony conviction*. That might put the fear of G-d in them.
