Obama urges families to ‘shop for some outstanding organic foods’
Washington Beacon ^ | May 16, 2012

President Obama told reporters today that mortgage refinancing should be made easier “because they’ve got an extra $2,000 in their pocket. Then they can buy more hoagies or go shop for some outstanding organic foods,” according to pool reports.

The president was speaking at a small business roundtable attended by the owners of D.C.-based Taylor Gourmet, a sandwich shop, and Yes! Organic Markets.

The president spent $62.79 on sandwiches at Taylor Gourmet, and ordered a foot-long “Spruce Street” hoagie, “which has roast turkey, prosciutto, roasted red peppers, and sharp provolone,” according to the pool.

Talk to the food stamp babies.......I have a friend who works at Kroger as a cashier. She said you wouldn’t believe the pricey foods they buy, always on the gubmint cell phones, lavish clothes, and fingernails gone wild. Maybe Obama should convince them to go organic.

Does the farm bill limiting farm work include family gardens? For example, if 12 year olds cannot work with livestock or in the fields, are they also excluded from feeding a milk goat in the backyard or pulling up weeds in a 1/4 acre garden in suburbia?

It was probably intentionally written in a vague manner so that they could “interpret” it later.

A fool and his $63.79sandwich will soon part. I got the Wednesday TOGOS special for $3.99, an Italian sub. When I can’t think he could be more stupid, he goes and orders a fucking meal that I could feed 16 people with-—talk about incompetent boob.

That’s $62.79, I guess only 15 1/2 people could be fed off O’s rediculously inflated sanwich he shoved down his miserable throat.

I like organic foods. Freshly butchered venison.

Was that $62.79 for one sandwich?

No, $6.27 for his and the rest for MooseChelle.

I wanted to buy some organic milk today, but it cost over $7.50 per gallon instead of the $2.99 per gallon for regular milk.
Organic food overall can be very expensive.
Of course, 0bama doesn’t know that.

There was a black chef making a show of trying to feed a family of 4 on food stamps, though that amount of roughly 500-600 a month is what the US government says is average for a family.
He complained about having to drop organic off the list, but it cut his costs in half.
