WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said that evidence helps support Zimmerman’s claim that he was defending himself from the teen. But Sheaffer added that the injured knuckles “could be consistent with Trayvon either trying to get away or defending himself.”
So GZ is being alleged to have done what to TM. Having a gun, GZ leaves it in his pocket and grabs TM. And poor TM flails about with a fist trying to get away, whereupon the monstrous GZ shoots TM.
And none of this follows on to anything known in GZ’s own past. GZ had no reason to disobey the dispatcher who told him to knock off the trailing (and to all appearance, DID). And in the meantime TM is on the horn with his girlfriend. Why didn’t she tell him to call police, or do it herself.
