A great man. May he rest in peace.

Here is the original Youtube video of his arrest at Notre Dame, by Pass the Salt. It is one of the most beautiful and inspiring films I have ever seen, as wonderfully crafted as it was heroically done by Fr. Weslin.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Perhaps my holiest and most valued client. He was a late convert, a late vocation to the priesthood after his cherished Irish Catholic wife was beheaded in an accident in his presence. He had had a significant military career and he and his wife were driving to Chicago and getting off an interstate when she was killed. He said Mass in my home on several occasions. He was the greatest Rescuer of the unborn and the greatest man's man that I have had the privilege of knowing.

I dare to hope that Father Weslin has been re-united with his beloved wife Mary in heaven and that their children will continue to carry on their work with the Mary Weslin Homes for Unwed Mothers.

Fr. Weslin: pray for each of us here at Free Republic and for the heathens who are running Notre Shame into the ground.

Requiescat in pace, Father Weslin, and please plead with God for me and mine and for the babies and for each and every pro-lifer! You were the very best!

I don’t know how it was for anyone else, but when I went to the link, there was a google ad for Obama at the bottom of the video.

Sad and exploitative weasels.

The video is wonderful and moving.
