...definition of "natural born citizen":

Here we go again.

There are only two factors that are considered in determining citizenship at birth.

1. On which country’s soil your born.

2. What was the citizenship of your parents.

If the citizenship of your parents is not the same as the country you were born in, you have a conflict.

You could be a dual citizen and some countries do not recognize dual citizenship.

But if your parents were citizens of the same country you were born in, there is no conflict.

You are naturally a citizen of just that one country.

Now, where do you people think ‘Natural Born Citizenship’ came from?

What could be more simple than this?

LOL. If it were only so simple.

My daughter was born overseas. Her mother is a naturalized American and I am native born. My daughter was immediately put on my wife's passport and when we returned to the US, my daughter was able to get a US passport based on being born to two US citizen parents. My daughter has never been naturalized. She is a US citizen by birth. And I believe that it is right and just that she could be President some day. There are millions of US citizens working abroad in the public and private sectors. Their children born abroad are automatically US citizens period.
