Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer, had the drug THC in his system the night of this death, according to new information obtained by ABC News.
The revelation came as prosecutors in the case prepared to release to the public hundreds of pages of new evidence along with videos and crime scene photos.
Martin's death sparked public outrage after police released Martin's shooter, George Zimmerman, without any criminal charges for the killing.
Zimmerman, 28, is a multi-racial Hispanic man who shot the black high school junior at close range on Feb. 26, and claimed self-defense, though Martin was unarmed. Zimmerman was later charged with second-degree murder, and the killing provoked widespread debate about racial profiling.

I’m still waiting for an explanation as to why the father had to be contacted the following morning that his son had been shot. Why wasn’t he out looking for him and why didn’t the gunshot and the police and EMS sirens bring him out of his house?

Martin with bruised knuckles and now we find, all drugged up.
Seems like it is more and more obvious that this was a case of simply self defense.
Neither individual did wrong until Trevon conforonted Zimmerman and punched him out. Both of them had the right to walk around the neighborhood any way they chose and no illegal act was committed until that point. Even then Trevon could have walked away and probably been alive and healthy though probably charged with assault...but he did not. He got on top of Zimmerman and continued to beat him, finally beating his head against the ground/walk way.
I would have shot him too...and probably earlier if I had been armed.
No murder 2...no manslaughter. An assault by an angry young black man that is consistant with his known twitter and facebook positings.
Sad for his family...tragic for what the kid might have become. But he was on the wrong road and met his fate as a result of it.

I read that Z had a black grandmother. Turns out Zimmerman is more black than Hussein Obama.
Dr. Catlin says he believes the stimulant's presence in the product is accidental. He said, "Supplements have a supply line of materials and that supply line can get contaminated."
Maybe his mother can scam another $40,000 in leave donations so she can hire her own lab to do the tests.
St. Trayvon was stoned?! Say it ain’t so!
Who knows? Zimmerman may have saved a life or two.
