"Prison should be all solitary confinement, no TVs, no Radios....no gyms or other areas for prisoners to congregate."
I agree, however, the courts have ruled otherwise.

Glad to see something I agree with the Obama administration about....I mean it’s bound to happen at least once in 3 1/2

Exactly. If there can be a camera at every traffic light, there can be one in every room and hallway of a prison. Oh, but wait. There is no revenue to be gained from that. The government will save a lot of money if we execute prisoners decades before they're due out of jail. We'll need to modify things a bit, if there's evidence and it's right there on the videotape, then it should be easy to execute a prisoner for raping someone in jail.

Prisons should be highly uncomfortable and totally safe.

I completely agree.
I wonder if a better approach to prison wouldn’t be a solution that is all solitary-confinement. Solitary is a harder time... And shorter times, if in solitary, might be more effective than what we do now.

I think it’s just fine for rapists and child molesters, in fact I think it probably ought to be sanctioned against those particular inmates, but I do oppose it otherwise.

Imagine the prison ratio.. On grave shift, 1,200 to 3.

The Quakers tried that. The idea was to meditate on their sins, and repent. So many prisoners went insane, the concept was scrapped.
