I think Obama isn’t quite in the loop on things as people may think. I get the impression that he’s fairly naive about cutthroat politics, it’s just that he’s always had somebody looking out for him.....once that protection is lifted, all bets are off.
I quite agree. Obama is not terribly bright or ambitious, but his handlers/protectors are. Remove the hand from the puppet and the puppet collapses.
Obama... naive? Not a chance. He went to Chicago to learn power politics from the best. And did he ever!
