A possible source of the so-called "birther" issue--or at least a potential cause of the rumors that have dogged President Barack Obama--has been identified.
Obama's former literary agency misidentified his birthplace as Kenya while trying to promote the then-Harvard Law grad as an author in 1991.
According to a promotional booklet produced by the agency, Acton & Dystel, to showcase its roster of writers, Obama was "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."
Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.
"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me--an agency assistant at the time," Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."
A copy of the booklet was published on Breitbart.com, under the headline: " Obama's Literary Agent in 1991 Booklet: 'Born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.' It was part of the "vetting" of the president the site's late founder, Andrew Breitbart, had promised.

How could Goderich have made a mistake in 1991 when Obama’s birthplace was not an issue? No one pointed out her mistake then since no one had foreseen that Obama would run for president.

This is what he's been trying to cover up the whole time. Not that he was born in Kenya but that when he was younger, he used to lie about being born in Kenya.

That’s right. So the real dynamite here is that Barry was puffing up his resume to make the book more attractive to publishers. That’s what we need to focus on. Trying to prove he was born in Kenya is a bridge too far. Not going to happen. But now that the agent is talking the lies are coming out. Now watch the White Hut stonewall this because there is more than smoke here.
The other interesting avenue to investigate is he that he is still listed as a client of this agent. How much is she being paid and what is she doing on his behalf? This is clearly a payoff for her silence. She has the goods...
Keep an eye on her financial assets...If they go up she’s been bribed. OTOH She may be afraid of a 60% blockage heart attack.
What a BS excuse that it was a literary error. So you mean from 1991 till 2007 (16 whole years) no one caught that error? Knowing as much of a narcissist as Obama is, he would have read this back in 1991 and would have corrected this error as he would have not wanted to be looked upon as a Kenyan if he was an American. Funny how right before his presidential campaign all of a sudden they make this change? I think it’s no coincidence.
That's it. IF he is going to lie about where is was born then he will lie about what being "flexible" with the Russians means.
Now we need to investigate the cover-up. How much was this agent being paid and what did she do for the hush money? I see no reason for her to still be listed as an agent. He doesn't need her for anything now that he is POTUS.
His big problem will be folks are going to start to demand to see his college records, to verify which of his lies is true.
And it will very likely turn out that he peddled his Kenyan birth to get some kind of scholarship BY FRAUD.

BINGO! Obama's problem is not where he was born, but his past web of lies about it. This is why he's hidden all of his past records - all of those lies are in writing. Obama's whole life is a lie.
