Posted on 05/18/2012 11:33:25 PM PDT by RobinMasters
No sooner did the literary agency brochure in which Barack Obama was said to be Kenyan-born surface than the media went to work to deep-six it.
"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me - an agency assistant at the time," Miriam Goderich, now a named partner in the literary agency, Dystel & Goderich, wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News, which was then picked up ABC News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."
This confession rings false to the point of preposterous for any number of reasons. Let us start with the obvious. At the time, 1991, the Acton & Dystel agency listed 90 clients, Obama among its least significant. How likely is it that Goderich would have remembered enough about a 1991 "error" to know it was hers, especially since it went uncorrected through several revisions until changed in 2007? To make this claim credible, there would have to be an existing paper trail leading to an Obama submission in which he lists an Hawaiian birth. I am confident that there is no such submission.

Thank you, I thought that photo on the right looked pretty “shopped”.
Maybe to you. Even Anti-American Bernie "Progressive" Sanders conceded that one.
So do we have any evidence of these threats? I am not questioning that they would do it, but I have not heard of specific threats. Are these generalized, implied threats or are they threats specific to do bodily harm to those personalities or their families? Is Breitbart more than a coincidental event coinsiding with Breitbart saying we were going to vett obama? I knew the Clintons had people killed and kept them in line like that. I never understood the loyalty Clinton commanded until I read of the detective in Little Rock and then, of course, Vince Foster. But I have not heard of this type of activity by the obama minions.
Well it is as long as RINOs run it...just by the definition of RINO. But it doesn't have to stay that way.
‘They’ do that to make it appear possible that Mark and zero shared the same father, which they did not.
Yes indeed; just as though shopped photos of Zimmerman to make him into a “white Hispanic” when his grandfather was black and grandmother Peruvian, and his skin is actually pretty dark.
If you haven’t heard, it means you’ve not kept up your reading on FR!~
FRiend, I think you summed it all up right there.
Now please keep in mind, those were events that happened from Arkansas, we're now dealing with the Chicago mob machine.....think about the differences in power.
"Conventional wisdom" is a phrase that means "popular opinion" isn't it? So it is true that conventional wisdom is that 0bama was born in Hawaii. Further, Rush has always used the phrase "conventional wisdom" as a substitute for saying 'this is what the MSM and the left think' but he uses that cover phrase as a way to sarcastically deride them. That's how his use of it has always come across to me.
...and then spin some convoluted reason for the born in Kenya literary bio, was very strange to say the least.
His spin of that was convoluted wasn't it? And very obviously convoluted at that. But that wasn't really his spin it is what the left is saying. It sounds even more ridiculous when Rush says it and now the left has to agree with Rush Limbaugh's "stupidity" in order to say it some more.
Yes, perhaps I am slow on the uptake, but have there been credible specific threats?
It will matter to the left and the Dem Party because when 0bozo is gone they will own everything he was including every new revelation.
He and his handlers will be bragging about who they are, what they did and how easy is was to do it.
I hope they do because they will be helping destroy the left and the Dem Party in a big way. They probably will too because there will be good money in it.
There have been several articles, the first one was a long time ago, Canada Free Press which is an excellent site.
If by “credible” you mean “those threatened stated publicly how they had been threatened and by whom”, no.
But if you can find the first CFP article, you will see that media people spoke to or communicated via email (I think there were phone calls too) with the author of the article about threats.
Also after Lou Dobbs brought up 0mugabe’s eligiliby shots were fired into his house, and then he was fired. And the day after Breitbart was killed, Limbaugh received some kind of weird “plaque” commemorating Lincoln’s assassination.
Just a few little things like that. There may be more evidence. But you should really try to find that first CFP article.
Also, as an aside, I have a post that I wrote to you during that whole sad, sorry affair of the threads on the murdered conservative/patriot lady talkshow host in response to your post with the pic of "Western TigersEye"--that I never posted but "saved to draft"--then the thread was pulled just before I went to post it and I was otherwise tied up.
My Crackberry's been acting up--it seems to have a mind of its own and will shut down sometimes (I think it's the interwebs,) when I hit the "post" button. So I've been alternately "saving to draft" some of my longer posts lately as a precaution.
Anyway, I'm going to FReepmail that post to you. I sure appreciate your honorable nature and backbone that always shines through. Thank you for it.
You and all here have a good rest-of-the-weekend. I'm going to mail it then I've gotta run.
@168 “Of course he lurks here, or at least his staffers do. I cant count how many times a story broke on FR, and the next day it was one of Rushs talking points.”
Damn Rush, is that you?
Wow, that is an amazing degradation of a man who created radio as it never existed before. A rock and Roll DJ? Can you do what he does? I bet you never never played rock and roll to you family let alon 20 million people /s
Ron, I believe his real job is to sell Sleep Number Beds and Gold Bars to folks who ALREADY espouse the views about which he speaks.
Ken, I bet you haven't the slightest clue how advertising and audience demographics play in securing ad rates. First you have to have an audience, then you have to hold them. Then you have to demontrate to the advertisers that your audience will, AND is capable of and will purchase your product.
Of course, we tend to stand with those who explain to us what we already believe.
Pehaps you should examine yourself. I listen to Rush because of his prospective, I disagree sometimes but I respect his opinion and listen to his point of view. Conversly, I listen to Rove when he is on the TV. I despise the man but recognize his view is not to be taken lightly.
Where I have a problem, besides Natural Born Citizen issue, and RL's total shutdown of Sheriff Joes inquiry into the validity of the BC, The SS, and the Selective Service issues, is that Right Wing Talk Radio seems to be powerless to make the Conservative Argument to undecided voters. Indeed, it doesn't even seem capable of getting out the "Conservative" vote in urging people to vote for the more conservative of the two parties' candidates.
I would suggest that you, take your talent and showcase them across the nation and attain 20 million listners, then you can put everything you have and have earned knowing that very few will back you up when TSHTF and then I will understand your point.
The phenomenal popularity of "Right Wing Talk Radio," again in in my opinion, is because it is documenting the rise of such grass roots movements as The Tea Party, not leading them.
Huh, "right wing"?
I assume that is really not what you meant to imply but as for the reast of that statement, Conservative talks radio and Rush were available and active long before the Tea Party came about.
Amass an army of listeners as Rush has, then have the guts to put it all on the line.
IOW, put YOUR money, you and your families life the line before you demand others to do it for you!
I thank you very much for those kind words. As for Hitlery; 0baMao is every horrible thing we all think he is but it is very disturbing and incredibly wrong-headed to hear anyone here say that Sec-Cank Clinton is anything other than a die-hard Marxist who was writing papers and establishing cred as one when 0bieWon was still eating dogs in Jakarta.
Even Anti-American Bernie “Progressive” Sanders conceded that one.
Yep..but another poster said what you are attributing to me. :)
Thanks for the Ping.
Yes, that’s quite an outstanding compilation of info at #32. Damning, even.
Did the mods stop giving you a hard time about it, Y?
To my shame, I came late to this party. I only started looking into it when Donald Trump was making noises last spring. One search led to another, and eventually I found FR and was astonished to find that there was actually a forum where the issue was being discussed, and at length with citations of sources of info. After lurking for awhile, I finally signed up in June of 2011 and have enjoyed being a FReeper ever since.
After studying this subject pretty much every day for over a year, I can say with confidence that if you're not a "birther" you're either not paying attention or you have an agenda, and it's not one that is conducive to the health of our founding document.
There should be absolutely NO questions or doubts about the Constitutional eligibility of ANY candidate for the highest office in the land. It is a no-brainer. The Constitution demands it. Those who slough it off as unimportant, for whatever reason, are not only fools but unworthy to call themselves Americans.
If we do not demand that a potential President (let alone someone who has already been elected to that Office with dubious credentials) meet the requirements of our Constitution, then it stands to reason that whoever occupies that Office is going to defy, rather than comply with what that Document states, and to it’s meaning.
And that is exactly what we have been witnessing since 20 January 2009.
