Posted on 05/18/2012 11:33:25 PM PDT by RobinMasters
No sooner did the literary agency brochure in which Barack Obama was said to be Kenyan-born surface than the media went to work to deep-six it.
"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me - an agency assistant at the time," Miriam Goderich, now a named partner in the literary agency, Dystel & Goderich, wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News, which was then picked up ABC News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."
This confession rings false to the point of preposterous for any number of reasons. Let us start with the obvious. At the time, 1991, the Acton & Dystel agency listed 90 clients, Obama among its least significant. How likely is it that Goderich would have remembered enough about a 1991 "error" to know it was hers, especially since it went uncorrected through several revisions until changed in 2007? To make this claim credible, there would have to be an existing paper trail leading to an Obama submission in which he lists an Hawaiian birth. I am confident that there is no such submission.

That's why italics or at least "quotation marks" are our friends, and keep you from looking like a plagiarist.
obama is finished. If he's the demonrat's nominee, he'll lose. There's no way he'll be reelected, regardless of who is running against him.
In fact, I'll be surprised if he's on the ballot.
The only way they keep him is if it looks like he'll raise a LOT of money for them.
That's still possible, but obama is a floater in the toilet bowl and whoever makes obama dance has one hand ready to pull the lever and send obama on his last swirling ride down and out.
Lots of meat to chew through with the obama standard indigestion to follow.
Thanks, Y. Very curious to the point of being damning.
w, s ping.
You can see a little bit of Sr.'s eyes in Mark, but he doesn't have the typical Lao or East African appearance of Sr.
So why would Jr.?
You know it, so stop lying.
As bad as his ineligibility for the presidency is, even worse is the complicit lying that enabled, and continues to enable, this unprecedented, egregious fraud.
I agree. As bad as it is to have an illegal president (and one who hate us and our country) what’s worse is the institutional blindness of the media, political, legislative and judicial segments of our civilization. The emporer has no clothes but armies of PC sycophants of all political persuasions obediently see him dressed in the most fashionable garb of the day.
It is an ongoing nightmare. It makes me willing to accept Romney. He may be a RINO puke, but at least he’s a f*ing American!
Romney will pull a McCain and will never talk about the lying BO POS. However, a Super Pac could do a fabulous ad putting all the lies starting with his birthplace together to run daily in every state.
Fortunately for BO everyone that knows anything about his past-familywise-are all dead. The grandmother death was really strange.
And that is exactly what we have been witnessing since 20 January 2009."
That is a very astute observation, and one that I've made a number of times on this forum. If the guy knows he's ineligible, and he knows that lots of people who could do something about it also know that he's ineligible and yet do nothing about it, he has carte blanche to do pretty much any unconstitutional thing he's of a mind to, and no one will dare stop him.
Truly a MAD doctrine.
Your photos don't provide any compelling evidence that Mark is more Barack Sr.'s son than Barack II is. They could be father and son, but there's no smoking gun there, no obvious indication that they would have to be, or that they were especially likely to be.
I don't know what your theory is, but if it's the Malcolm X one, it's obviously wrong, and insulting to the intelligence in so many ways.
First, cross-racial identifications are always tricky. People fixate on the obvious similarities between people of a different race and don't see the subtler differences.
Second, people are stupefied by the way that one picture of a head of a certain shape and size taken from a certain angle can be morphed into another picture of a head of a similar shape and size taken from the same angle. It's like cats captivated by shiny objects. They aren't examining other likenesses of the two men.
Third, of course a mixed race child may resemble other mixed race people more than the parent of one race or the other. The particular racial characteristics get lost in the mixed. You could as well say that Obama couldn't be Stanley Ann's child because he didn't look much like her.
Fourth, how does an East Coast African-American religious-separatist leader and a White Seattle school girl get together? And why? Surely each of them had more likely and appealing prospects closer to home. People are fixating on Malcolm because he's a well known figure and Obama's imitated him to a degree and letting common sense and probability go out the window.
If you've got some other theory, good for you, but don't give support to a particularly silly one.
look at the pictures, dude- HE looks JUST LIKE Malcolm X
I put a bunch of pictures up on-screen of X and asked my daughters who it was- all three of them said “Obama” (they dont know who Malcolm X is- I wanted a fresh set of eyes)
They see it, I see it, don’t you?
Gee, maybe Burlap Hessian Yomama may have actually been born in ... Kenya? Who knew?
If D&G were the only literary agency left on Earth, I would not deal with them. If they'll lie FOR a client, I can't trust them not to lie TO a client.
I’m sorry beaversmom but i disagree.
Malcom x is obama’s father.
I checked out the old pictures of X on a web page dedicated to him and one picture, since removed, was a dead ringer for obama
