Agreed. Humility would go a long way. Thankfully I don’t twitter. I cannot imagine being insulted live by these pundits. ; )

I still have not witnessed an indepth analysis of Obama’s economic policies and how they compare to Reagan’s. I still have to see an indepth comparison of Reagan’s recession versus Obama’s.

NADA from these great mensa pundits! : )

We—ok, I, simply speaking for myself (chime in if any reader agrees with me)—do not want that here

I do not contribute much more than a comment here and there, because mostly what needs to be said is already said when I log on, however, in this, I agree 100%.

When did I say I was a nice person?

You’ve been asked to leave as you are a disruptor to this thread.

I don’t go where I am not wanted.

Wish you wouldn’t.

First, your falsely labeling a FReeper
as a ‘Disrupter’ attempts to make this thread nothing more
than a ROMNEY PIMP THREAD.

Second, as you proudly admit,
you are not nice.
Did you pull hair of the fallen children
with Willard Romney?

Were you a class bully, too?

Thank you but you did not answer the question I asked.

Again, Romney’s strong suit is his successful past in the business world as seen by his experiences while head of Bain and also in his work with the Olympics.

The major issue today is the economy, jobs, the deficit. These are issues which call for a leader with heavy business experiences. We know what Romney has accomplished in this area and I am asking you what you would have done differently in running Bain and in dealing with the Olympics.

You do know that in MA he was saddled with a monstrous Dem advantage in both Houses, right? They could have over ridden him on anything. As for raising taxes? Ronald Reagan, who if he would return to us as he was in the 1980’s I would cheerfully sacrifice a few fingers of my left hand (I’m a righty), raised taxes and it’s right here on the FR.

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2828224/posts

I know he also cut them and I know how the economy grew during the 80’s but strictly speaking Reagan signed the tax increases proposed by the Dems who held very strong majorities then and probably would have over ridden his veto and by doing so maybe stripped out the things they offered Reagan which he wanted, in order to get him to go along peacefully.

Thank you for bringing up the Olympics.
Did you know that Romney served in Vie..Olympics?

However, note:
Romney’s specialty is getting American taxpayers
to fund his schemes.

Olympic “bailout” —> US TAXPAYERS SCREWED

BIG DIG Coverup —> US TAXPAYERS SCREWED

RomneyCARE -———> US TAXPAYERS SCREWED

TARP Support ———> US TAXPAYERS SCREWED

See a pattern here?

Of course not. There is always an excuse, right?

Our DVR was full this AM, so we only caught the first minute of “Face the Nation.” However, that minute had the most astounding bit of opinion from Bob Schieffer: supposedly, the reason that the Nation’s credit rating was cut last year was that Boehner objected to raising the debt limit.

OK, my concern here is the sanity of the thread and keeping the rancor down. The best way to handle this is to not reply.

Diogenesis, I wish you would understand that this is not the place for fighting against Romney. No one here is a Romneybot. I am asking you, Altura and Bray, and any others, to stop arguing. I have no authority here to demand it, but I am asking.

Good day.

To help clear up any possible miss interpretations of my point of view.
I would wager that most on this thread would consider the departure of Kay Baily Hutchison a good thing.
I see Mitt Romney as being to the LEFT of Key Baily and in the same / similar mode as the last President Bush. The two things President Bush did well was appoint two “Constitutional” disposition layers to the Supreme Court. The Jury is still out on how they will “grow”.
My preference is for a limited Constitutional form of G’ment with things like the Dept. of Education, as well as many other Federal agencies totally eliminated.

I see the unlimited g’ment as a cause for most of what ails the U.S. Unfortunately there are no signs from the Republican brand to change my mind.

Representative Ryan’s budget is one small hope. If in March of next year there is a majority Republican House and Senate as well as a President Romney - Will his version be implemented?

The other option - Democrat/Socialist is worse, but only because we get to arrive in Hell faster.

Ok, I get it. You will not answer my questions because the truth will not fit your narrative.

You do know you are acting exactly as a liberal would, don’t you?

But from two rooms away, he can hear me open the container that holds his sticks. I look up and there he is.

Talk about selective hearing. Years ago, the cartoon, "Far Side" did a hilarious "analysis" of a dog's selective hearing. A great metaphor for a Lib, who hears only what he wants to hear...

Listen, newbie, there was no question.

You made false statements to protect your Romney
who used IMPROPER EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY to impose gay marriage,
and who used campaign contributions to cover up
the improprieties of the BIG DIG,
and who used US taxpayer money to finance his
RomneyCARE (Romney ‘death panels’
a.k.a. socialized medicine).

Sentient adults do not fall for the BS from
Romney which has been shown to be ... BS.

Too true. But what ever choice do we have? At this time we should have had Sarah Palin wrapping it up, not Romney.

What happened? Why did she choose not to run? Is the conservative ideal candidate unobtainable? Why didn't we rally around ONE conservative?

Personally, I think we're all just screwed until after it falls ALL apart. Still, I will not allow Obama to get another term if I can possibly prevent it. My only thought now is to see him out.

LOL, newbie? Maybe so on this forum but trust me old buddy, as far as logical debate and useful dialogue you are a tower of emptiness compared to me. You appear to be one of those clowns who equate time on a forum with intellect. Really, how awfully silly is that?

Now go back and READ my post so you may actually see the questions which I have posed twice to you. This time answer them and try not to let your sense of self grandeur interfere with common sense
