The U.S. and French First Ladies couldn't hide their awkwardness as they posed for photos ahead of a youth centre visit in Chicago.
Michelle Obama wrapped with one arm around the waist of Valerie Trierweiler and with the other she gripped the French First Lady's hand tightly.
Towering above Miss Trierweiler, Mrs Obama was very much in control. She didn't loosen her grip as she turned to embrace the French President's partner, placing her other hand on Miss Trierweiler's back to pull her closer.
A resistant Miss Trierweiler stayed rigid and upright as Mrs Obama leaned in and offered her cheek for an air kiss.
And her fixed smile turned to a tooth-bearing grimaces.

The best photo at the link is the last one - obozo and Karzai. He has his jaws clenched so tight, I’m surprised he didn’t have to see a dentist immediately after. He wasn’t happy - maybe because he had to shake the hand of a corrupt leader? Does he kowtow to any other kind?

It wasn't your doing of course, it was in the original article. A dog would 'bare' it's teeth, here or there. I've come to expect that sort of thing from US 'journalists'. I'm surprised to see it in print from the UK however; even when they're wrong about something- they usually at least get the spelling right.
The french broad looks a darker Jodie Foster except who sadly has never seen the inside of a gym, or pool, or anything. She has the look of having been fed bonbons on the sofa all her life. Soft, saggy and a hair slutty to boot.
Wide Load just lucked into a better dresser that morning, I’d think the busboy could do a better job.
Despite his electoral loss, I find it difficult to feel too much pity towards President Sarkozy.
