Our legal justice system is biased, crooked and corrupt.
In spite of the obvious facts, Zimmerman could be convicted.
My only questions is why would she fall on her own sword? Is she doing it for Obama?
Granted it might not be the wisest thing in the world to approach an oddly behaving person (worst case scenario for Messrs. Z and T) and ask him what the heck he is doing, but this is by no means counter to any law.
It ought to be over when the jury here (or judge, if Mr. Z opts for bench trial) barfs back at the prosecution after fifteen minutes; but sadly the ever political Obama, for all his bleeding heart liberalism not really caring about any individual person but only about faceless classes, has more dogs to sic on Mr. Z. The half?-black has it in for the quadroon.

Perhaps her thinking, and perhaps what worked in past non-high-profile cases, is figure out what charge makes sense, then increment figuring there would be a plea-bargain down to the appropriate level. If so, this is her undoing, as Z and his lawyers get the charges dropped, as it cannot support Murder-II, and no plea bargain.

One could argue that whatever the outcome, this case has already done irreparable harm to the public's confidence in our judicial system. It has shown how it is easily manipulated for political reasons, and it has shown that prosecutors don't have to adhere to standards of honesty or basic decency.
Maybe it's just a case of turning over a rock and letting us see the cockroaches that were there all the time.
I've been wondering about this. And from other discussion in all the internet posts, I understand that the prosecutor is a very aggressive prosecutor. But this case is surely a no-win case. So one has to look beyond the immediate facts. And I think I've discovered the rationale.
The case is not about Travon Martin or George Zimmerman either one. Its purpose is to spur national and public dialog about the use of firearms for self defense as not being necessary; it's about the use of extreme, deadly force when someone is under attack as opposed to some sort of proportionate response to such attacks.
One only has to look at the evolution of the no gun policies in Gret Britain to see where it's headed.
