His first FBI posting was in rural upstate New York where there were lots of people so poor they relied on poaching to feed their families.

I can relate to that. Growing up in Northern Pennsylvania in the '50s we ate a lot of illegal deer out of necessity (8 kids and Dad unemployed a lot of the time).

It is very likely better for us than beef because they aren't fattened up with chemical foodstuffs like they beef are in the slaughter yards.

I’m sure it is going on today in many parts of Pennsylvania.

And if caught and convicted, I am sure the offender is signed up for food stamps as part of his “rehabilitation”.
