NYT Reporter Goes To Romney's Church, Seeks Dirt From Worshipers

Is this one of the reporters the NY Times sent to Jeremiah Wright's church to dig up dirt on Ubama back in '08?

I don't look to see who says what or who is in a agreement with a particular issue before I take a stance. Democrats and liberals do that. They are sheep. I will agree on it even if Karl Marx happened to believe the same thing. A broken clock can be correct twice a dsy.

We did Rev. Wright already in 2008. It failed. Obviously. Obama is our President today.

Like you, I agreed back in 2008 that Rev Wright should have been something to consider before voting for Obama. And it was considered by the voters who cared. Well, we already have them. It's the others who didn't care about Rev. Wright that we need to win over.

I agree with Clinton. "It's the economy stupid".

And now, it appears that many of the folks who didn't want us to look at Barak's 'religion' are saying the same about Mitt.

What kind OF 'DIRT'?

On the attendees or the religion itself?

Republicans need to stop trying to win elections like we tried to win Vietnam. There is NO fairness, no rules. You are in it to win.

That being said, Rev Wright is old news. The only people who don't know his name are probably people who watch networks that think it's cool to say G D America. They are beyond conversion. We don't want them to get them interested in politics. We don't want them voting.

I'll let you know later in the week. We have 20 youths from the ward coming on a fund raising project for travel to DC next year. They will literally be getting down and dirty as Mrs. Binger will herd them with their rakes and shovels across the property for the annual spring cleanup. Plenty of dirt down here. Mainly bentonite.

Obama did attend church for over 20 years - and the Rev. Wright is more than willing to talk. Why doesn’t the New York Times pay him a visit?

Recently New York Times journalist Jodi Kantor went to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint chapel where Mitt Romney goes to services to interview members about what he is like. As a typical liberal journalist she went to find dirt on Romney. What she found was quite different than what she expected.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts, Kantor revealed, “One of the most interesting (things about the Mormons and Mitt Romney) is the belief in American exceptionalism. Every political candidate goes out on the trail and unfurls his or her patriotism, right? But Mitt Romney’s is a little bit different because Mormons actually believe that God had a plan for the United States. That the country is sort of divinely inspired, that the Constitution is divinely inspired, that our country is marked by God to play a unique role in history.”

Kantor said the only problem the LDS Church members who know Romney well had with him, were that his political attacks go against what he taught in church. But what they don’t understand is about the story in their Book of Mormon where one nation divided in two, thousands of years ago. The first nation, the Nephites, were the righteous people. The second nation, the Lamanites, were the unrighteous. The Nephites felt no obligation to be nice to the Lamanites as the Lamanites swore to kill the Nephites and take their property. In the Book of Mormon, Alma 43:30 reads: And he also knowing that it was the only desire of the Nephites to preserve their lands, and their liberty, and their church, therefore he thought it no sin that he should defend them by stratagem; therefore, he found by his spies which course the Lamanites were to take.

Today, even though we are in one nation, we are generally divided in two contending factions. We are in a cultural war. Being too nice to our enemies, even our temporary enemies, can cause us to become complacent with the little progress we may make. We must keep in mind that our cultural enemies never sleep. They are skeeming all the time.
Remember the enemy is nice only for some devious end. If we don’t fight we lose the battles and we are the worse off for it.

Republicans, conservatives and fellow travelers all need to grow more of a political and spiritual backbone. If we don’t, like the Nephites, we will become like our enemies and be destroyed one way or another for our trouble. In other words, stop worrying so much about offending our enemies. God will forgive us. Now let us get on and fight.

Uh???

Well obviously if the vast majority of Mormons aren’t told about the truths of Mormonism she certainly isn’t going to learn anything by sitting in among them other than the same propaganda they are taught at that level. It’s rather like the Blue Lodge in Masonary....those on the bottom are the grunt workers...the “truth” is hidden from them...and those on the upper levels make sure of it.

Of course they are...and even if our own did look, and many have, they'd cover their eyes because then what would they do otherwise?...not vote for Romney? Nah, they aren't going to back off that under any circumstances.....and why they won't investigate him further.
